I wanna do something a little different with my camaro's motor so im think of doin a 3x2 (six pack) carb setup. The motor as of now just has a 6,000 rpm cam but im getting RHS pro action heads and now im thinking of adding a 3x2 setup to it.

What do u guys think? Does a 3x2 setup have better fuel delivery because of its design? Will it support higher rpms? Is it too many cfms for a 60 over 350?

alright so far what i have is a 350 4bolt main with and edelbrock torker cam (.488 lift) from my previous build. im taking off my WP sportsman II heads and putting in vortech heads. The vortech stock from what ive read only accept around .430 lift so im thinking ill have to get the valve guides machined down so i can keep my cam unless anyone has a easier way of getting these heads to accept more lift? Im putting an edelbrock preformer RPM intake on along with a 670cfm holley carb with vac secondaries and an electric choke if i can find one for a decent price. this is a conversion build from my tpi setup and ive never worked carbs before so any opinions or advice would be nice, thanks.

Hey guys I have a edelbrock 1406 600cfm manual choke carb right now, I have had hell trying to keep my freshly rebuilt 350 running, (crnk turned .010, bored .030, 9.0:1 @ 72cc pistons, timing chain, all new gaskets, mech edelbrock fuel pump, carb gas tank line modification)

This is on a 1978 chevy 350 out of a truck, It has 883 heads with new valves and seats, performer RPM intake, 700r4 (lockup and tv corector bracket).

The car is a 1986 Iroc-Z,
I plan on putting in a set of edelbrock performer rpm 64cc heads, and a thumper cam (279/297 .498,.483).

This car will be daily driven in the summer, I hope for 325 rwhp. Or around that.... The cam in the car right now is a summit 262/272 .420.442...

This car will be daily driven in the summer, it sits in a heated garage in the winter, I will drive it some in the spring so electric choke is a must for me.

Harden steel on aluminum doesn't seem like a long lasting relationship to me. i have 1 of 3 things that i could possibly uses or that i think would work. lanthanum grease, Mobile one synthetic grease, and polyurethane bushing grease which i doubt would work because its pretty sticky. i want to see if anyone had some input or could elaborate on this

I have one that i've had for some years. It's a 17085239. Came off a 350 1/2 ton truck, 1985..

Has all sorts of markings but I don't know what is important and what is not. Curious if it's at least 750 cfm, or larger..?
