Navy has decided to send me back to the pacific northwest and I figure with the start of a new tour I need a new toy. I've always wanted a 3rd gen camaro and figure why not now? So the search starts... With any project phase 1 is always research so I've started looking around this website and forming a plan. I know what should be fixed first (ie fix whats broke/worn to get it back to stock then subframe connectors suspension brakes) only 2 questions left for crowd. First is do these cars have any known failure items that should be looked for prior to buying the car? best example I can come up with is E36 BMWs are known to develop stress cracks around where the subframe connects to the body. Anything like this on these camaros? This like any other car purchase will be met with the typical digging threw it looking for "mods gone wrong" evidence of an any structural repairs panel repaints bondo work etc... 2 It seems that the year/options i'm looking for are hard to find together. Any advice on where to look for a t-top TPI V-8 with a manual in a 91 or 92 (92 prefered) camaro? color Z28 or RS isn't too important but the basic options are. Thanks for all the help and wealth of information amassed here.

Hey guys if you haven't played forza 3 yet, you need to. The Camaro's and T/A's are top notch. I'm interested in a gaming night once a month for a while, so we can build our cars and race them in game.

The show will be July 11th but we will have Camaro only events July 9th & 10th.
(now dont quote me on this stuff, because its not set in stone yet)
July 9th sounds like it will be Camaro only Drags out at Pacific raceways (this is friday night)

July 10th will be a cruise (poker run?, or something around that area, start location is yet to be set, But ending may be at Sunset Chevrolet)

The reason for the camaro only events is that we as a Camaro club have decided to do that. The Show will remain a ALL CAMARO & CHEVY show, just like years past

More details to follow as soon as we get them out. Should have show fliers out sometime in Dec.

For more information please keep an eye out on http://www.pnwcc.com/acs2.html
