91 Z convertible
305, 5 speed
82K miles
new tires, clutch and brakes
runs and drives nice.
not a spec of rust on it, garaged car.

bad:
was re-painted original color, but has orange peel. Best case scenerio I can get it wetsanded and maybe need another coat of clear.
interior is good (no cracks on interior panels, just has a couple small holes in driver seat. I would get 4th gen leather anyways.

top was replaced, but guy poke a pencil tip sized hole it one corner. Will be a garagd car though.

asking $4700, but I think I can get it for 4K.

I even attached a pic. Well, I tried but photbucket isnt working for me. :(

Sound like a good deal?

I'm trying to mount a new fender onto the driver side of my car. I've already cut the bottom off of it to make it fit. However, I don't know what the bracket that was added to these fenders is supposed to look like or if it can be seen from the passenger side with the door on. Also, I'd like to know what the gap between the fender and the A-pillar is supposed to be. Any pics would be great. Thanks.

That teal green looking color, black top, 305 TBI with an automatic transmission.

Previous owner put it in a ditch and broke the right rear control arm (we had 4 spares and already replaced it) and bent the right spindle (1 spare for that) and getting it ready to go on - clean/grease the bearings, get the rotor turned, new grease seal when it finally stops raining.

The rest of it is good to go. The windows seem a little loose but we have spares for the power window motors and interior/door mounts/linkages for the power windows if those are the same as the hard top/t top cars.

The ditch thing scraped the paint on the spoiler/nose and put some dimple type dings/buckles in the front fender in a couple of places. Will probably replace the fender this spring before getting it painted.

Two cigarette burn holes in the rear seats (one on each seat) and a couple 50 cent sized tears in the front drivers seat on the outer edge half way up.'

The AC, radio, lights, etc. all seem to work fine. Starts up and idles fine with no check engine light. Tires are in good shape. One rim with some curb rash but we have a spare set of the same 16" rims for it. That's right, I have the 3rd Gen Camaro disease (2 '86 IROCS, an '83 Z28, and my son now has 2 '91 RS's and lots of spare parts after numerous trips to the junkyards over the years.)

He's already sent pictures to his buddies with the comment, "Well, I guess I'll be one of those fools you see riding around in November with the top down."

I'm trying to get him to register here so he can research the convertible data posted here.

Have a good one.

Oh yeah, $1500 bucks.

I have an 88 IROC convertible with pretty shabby dark gray interior. I'm looking to switch over to black leather interior to go triple black (it just sounds cool  )
I'm getting leather door panels from Classic Industries most likely, black carpet from A1 Auto and some "leather" seat covers from Advance Auto Parts (for now). What I need is pictures of the rear seat leather panels on the convertibles. I'm going to re-cover mine but would like to know what they are supposed to look like. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I never have. I wish they would make a game that has one. It would be asweome racing tracks around the world with the TOP down!!! I love 3rd gen convertibles!!! Has anyone else seen a game that has 3rd gen verts. I was curious because this is a convertible forum for third gens and I thought this would be a good place to ask. Anyway, I found a game that has 3rd gen Camaro and TA hardtops, but no verts. Maybe we could write them and ask for a 3rd gen vert...What do you guys think. Check out these links... Hopefully my post won't get locked since I am talking about convertibles specifically???
