Here is how it works...
Have you ever noticed that when you get new tires, or when you leave the tire store and the car drives so good, but after a while, making trips to the gas station filling your tires using cheap pressure gauges the tire pressures in your tires are not exactly the same from side to side. In effect your car then starts to slightly pull to the side with less air... The solution seems simple, make sure you have the exact same amount of air on both sides of your car.

The pisclops does this for you by filling two tires, typically your rear or front tires at the same time, you get a perfectly balanced pressure on both sides.

Made from real die-cast metal and not plastic too, there are three models, a 0#-15# "Pro15" for those drag racers, a 0#-60# called the "Extreme" and a 35# - 180# "XL180" that is for those high pressure things for trailers, spare tires etc...

I went with the "Extreme" Since I am not a drag racer.

I am honestly impressed... It lights up and everything. The only thing I will warn you, do not do what I did, and remove just the battery cover instead of taking the whole thing apart... I accidentally took apart the whole unit to try and put the batteries in it...

If your interested check out their web site:
http://www.tire-pressure-gauge.com/
I bought mine at http://www.vulcantire.com/psiclops_t...refad=EQUALAIR I got it in a week, and they had the cheapest shipping. And it was $10 less than the equal-air website...

If your into racing, or you like to have a nice driving car, this is a must have...

swap out my stock hurst offset shifter for a tri-ax the other day, just got to drive the car again today. Its a nice shifter, a bit smoother than the hurst one. They stick is much lower too which is nice, makes the shifts quicker.

Only issue in fitment is in stock form, the tri-ax is too short. The know sits down inside the console and in 2-4-r hits the console. Not a lot, but enough that i dont like it. I had to make an extension for the handle, moving it up another inch and its good now.

Its a nice piece, i would recommend it to anybody looking to ditch the hurst shifter on their tko. the offset of the tri-ax handle is almost perfect to center the knob in the console opening. Like I said though, your going to have to lengthen the stick.

The shifter is a little pricey, about 200bux. I found a new, installed but not used one on ebay, paid 91bux:)

My friend welded these on for me with his ark welder for 50 bucks. I tried lifting the passenger side in the middle of the sfc and it started bowing really bad and I heard a few loud pops comming from the front of the sfc, I thought maybe a weld or the body broke but they looked okay. He told me one of the welds would look bad but it was because he went over it it a couple times because it kept burning holes in the sheetmetal.

Anyways, maybe someone here can tell me if these are legit welds.

1AAuto Window Sweep...wtf?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nJbT7UzNdQU

Has anybody had any problems like this with window sweeps? I purchased this piece from 1AAuto to replaced the failed factory window sweep. It was rotted and falling apart so bad chunks of rubber were missing from it and allowing water to free fall down into the door. In the video, you can see where I had to encase the bottom of the door in POR-15 to repair all the damage.

The new window sweep from 1AAuto imp-ressed me initially. I thought it to be a quality piece, until today. I installed it on my car and the install did not go easy. Several of the screw holes towards the front of the car did not line up correctly and it took an extreme amount of wrestling to get it bolted to the door. Then, tonight as I was warming up my car, I noticed the window sweep was allowing a pretty decent amount of water down into the door. There is a fine gap between the sweep and the window in several areas. Big enough to fit maybe 1 - 2 sheets of printer paper into. You can see in the video numerous areas where water is running down the window beyond the sweep and pooling at the bottom of the door.

I made sure the piece was attached to the door correctly, adjusted the window guides as tight as I could get them without causing the window motor to bind and I even tried rolling the window all the way down and kneading the window sweep down hoping it would form the rubber more towards the window. The only other solution I can think of is to shim the window sweep, but then I am concerned about it creating a gap where it meets the door.

From what I've seen on TGO, 1AAuto and Tony especially have excellent customer service, but if this is a problem with all of their window sweeps, I can't see them doing much to fix it.
