What do you men and women think about the names of your cars or sexes of them???

So in the thread Did you name your cars?? And it was by zemon1 There was a lot of interesting things in it. And I thought it was a good question and thread altogether. :goodidea:But there was some questions as to whether the cars are female or male....why are most seemingly female. And what to women think of their cars...and their sex and names.

I am only one woman but I thought it would be interesting to here what the ladies on here had to say. Because I see mostly guys posting.

In my opinion....Manuals are Males and Automatics are Females. I do not know why. Well I do in away but I ain't putting that on here. Lol.

My 88 Camaro is to me a Male because of the Manual. I named him Chase. I like the name. I think in my eyes it fits the car because it sounds like a nice name but alil rough around the edges which right now my car is.

I agree with redtruck18 on the statement that most men call their cars females because its almost like the time they into it is a relationship. And I do agree probably because mine is male and thats how I view it.

However I do have my everyday car I use for now...its a 1992 Saturn and yea it isn't anything special and I view it as a female.....its an automatic....and for the most part she listens well. Lol ummm I call her Lynn. I don't know why. Shes just my everyday work car for now I had plans for her but it was all cosmetic.

So my big question is and you men an answer this to if you wish.....Why do you view your car as a male or female?? And What do the other ladies here view their cars as?????
