The guy that did mine was a 21 year old student at SIUC it was his first attempt at anything like a car. I thought he did a outstanding job of it.

And I thought it was a good question and thread altogether. :goodidea:But there was some questions as to whether the cars are female or male....why are most seemingly female. And what to women think of their cars...and their sex and names.

I am only one woman but I thought it would be interesting to here what the ladies on here had to say. Because I see mostly guys posting.

In my opinion....Manuals are Males and Automatics are Females. I do not know why. Well I do in away but I ain't putting that on here. Lol.

My 88 Camaro is to me a Male because of the Manual. I named him Chase. I like the name. I think in my eyes it fits the car because it sounds like a nice name but alil rough around the edges which right now my car is.

I agree with redtruck18 on the statement that most men call their cars females because its almost like the time they into it is a relationship. And I do agree probably because mine is male and thats how I view it.

However I do have my everyday car I use for now...its a 1992 Saturn and yea it isn't anything special and I view it as a female.....its an automatic....and for the most part she listens well. Lol ummm I call her Lynn. I don't know why. Shes just my everyday work car for now I had plans for her but it was all cosmetic.

So my big question is and you men an answer this to if you wish.....Why do you view your car as a male or female?? And What do the other ladies here view their cars as?????
