Has anyone tryed to modify a set of the LT1-LT4 or LS1 Fuel Rail Covers to fit on a TPI? I think it would be really cool if some how...they woulc be cut and placed around the runners...just exposing the plenum and the runners..cover the valve covers and such. Has anyone does anything like this before? I've thought about doing it...but don't wanna waset about $70 bucks tring to do it....

i don't see a point of putting covers on a tpi seeing as how the plenum covers mostly everything up anyways, but thos lt1 covers do look pretty sweet, maybe they could keep some of the heat of the plenum??? so it could possibly be worth it

The design I have come up with will basically cover just the valve covers...and some of the area surrounding them. My valve covers aren't the best looking...and I don't want to change them...so I thought this would be a cool mod to do if it's done right. Anyway...I went ahead and ordered a set of the Black LS1 "Corvette" Fuel Rail Covers instead....they look a bit wider....and will allow more room to be cover..I'll post pictures when I get them done.
I really dont see you getting them to look anywhere like they belong there, just get rid of the chitty tpi motor and install an LT1, then you can install em :-D

I'm interested to see how this turns out, I really like my corvette covers......
so how did it turn out 84customZ28?? I was looking around ebay and thought it might be a neat idea to cover the stock valve cover and clean up the engine bay, so I did a search here.. ... post some pics!

well, I've had them done for along time now..guess I just never posted pictures. Here is a picture...they look alright for now...I'll do some more work to them later in the summer probably.
personally, anything that says "corvette" that isn't in a corvette is like putting a type R sticker on something that isn't a type R

I posted a picture because the guy wanted to see how they look....this post is very very old and was brought back from the dead. So your comments really don't mean much man...sorry
Well I happen to think they look pretty good from that angle.. actually I can only see the one on the driver's side. Do you have any other images that show the covers a bit more clearly?
interesting web site pasky.. worthy of a bookmark.

considering these engines came and are derived from the corvette I see no "****" anywhere in these pics.Ive seen guys with vette badges on impala SS.I overlooked it because they are "vette" powered cars.
