Give the guy a break... if all goes well They will be sold. As most of your know NOT BEING a SUPPORTING VENDOR **** gets locked down if you go into selling stuff.
Stop bugging the guy. He does this stuff on the side. I'm sure he is keeping Tabs on the post.
I hope he goes into selling them, and I highly doubt for the time being he is going to get banned or anything just because his name isn't on the sponsored list at this time.
I'd like a set as well. It looks like there's too much red tape. Could Jerrywho describe more on how they were made for those of us that are interested? It really is cool.
There's a lot of issues with the safety thing and then simply dealing with all of the people and the issues they create that can make a guy back off. I was just hoping he would share more of his skill so we can learn from him. :hail: :hail: :hail:
Or maybe he is just watching this while he is getting things ready to sell it as a product.
We won't know unless he comes back.
But he does have something really cool. Even just doing the front will help move the weight balance back while lowering the moment of inertia.
Last I talked to him Via PM he was Tired of not hearing back form Dirk about being a sponsor. So he could make and sell his stuff on this site.
I'm sure theres ALOT of stuff he has to consider. OFF ROAD use or not there are issues.
If you can sue McDonald's because you burn yourself on HOT COFFEE and because you claim to get FAT because of eating a Big mac and Fries every day. You can sue for anything.
All good things come in time....
If you cant wait and you can weld get under there and measure 2x cut once.. mock it up with dowl rod if you have to. Then make the real deal.

Personally, I’m not sure why this thing needs to be aluminum, do it out of half thickness steel and you’ll have something that will have the same weight and strength
If steal is fine with you I could do make ya one. Im finishing up some of my cage work and tubular front chassis work. Then I plan to start on both front and rear pieces like this.

Originally posted by JERRYWHO I have no problem making them for others, The problem is selling them on this board, I don't sponsor this site and will not risk getting banned for this. Last year I e-mailed the webmaster about sponsorship and got no reply so I droped it then. I can make and have the tooling for aluminum non a/c heater boxes, T-56 speedo drive kits ( cable and VSS), aluminum adjustable sway bar end links, Dana 44 kits, 4130 A-arms and more, Maybe it's time to work on this.
