I am a psychic and I am predicting you will not have the same luck.

But good luck to you either way.

Re: what do you think of my twin-M62 super charger project?

well, I already pushed my '87 IROC_Z L98 car, to high 13's before the trans broke, because it had too much power; I haven't seen anyone else do that with there car, not even car craft or the other magazines with a L98 camaro have done that, so. I'm not psychic, but I am friends with all the guys that work at a machine shop, so if I do have some trouble, then, I'll start over with a new motor and parts when I have the money for them.

Re: what do you think of my twin-M62 super charger project?

OK fine. Geez. Not trying to say you don't have friends or anything. Just saying that there is a good chance your stock bottom will blow.

I have a very different out look when it comes to motor strength. For my DD only making 344 RWHP I went with fully forged crank, rods and piston just cuz someday I may want to run N20. I like over building things so that I am not scared about pounding on the car and getting stuck far from home. I wanna be able to drive 2 states over for a show, beat on it and not be scared that I might need a $900 tow back home. But thats just me.

Re: what do you think of my twin-M62 super charger project?

I hear this one guy, this one time, not my friend, but a friend of my friend made 1000 hp out of a stock 2 bolt 305 with nawwwwsss and made 3 million passes on it! Believe me now? Talk is cheap, lose the attitude, build something and post up progress pics, until then you're just wasting your time trying to "show everybody" that you can do something by posting random things that others have done.

Re: what do you think of my twin-M62 super charger project?

LOL, Naaaawwwssss

classic.

That is very true. People love saying well this one time, or I have these friends that will help me.... let us know after they have, not b4.

Like was said above, I am an avid supporter of doing things alone or in some custom way. I have stuff like that done to my car. Plenty of stuff. But I waited till I got it back from the paint shop to tell people so that i could show them some decent pics.

When I started building my car I wanted 500 RWHP, N/A. Now that I am 3 years older and a lot more experienced, I know that 350 for a DD is just fine, and on the weekends there is N20 to help me out. Since gas cost like it does and I drive the car 3000 miles in one summer alone.

Well anyways, just stay in the real world and shoot high but be prepared for A LOT of eye openers. Not trying to sound like I know everything I am only 23, but I have been though a lot building my car. From bare unibody back to a full car pulling 344 RWHP through a 12 bolt and a 6 speed, capable of holding almost double that HP without breaking.

Re: what do you think of my twin-M62 super charger project?

Well, in my summer Machine class, I've learned how to make my flanges for the superchargers, and that's my next step, then take a class to tig weld some outlet parts to the flanges, then setup something to bolt them either to the heads, or I might wait and bolt them up to my HSR intake, because it has some bosses, I could drill and tap for holding the flanges and superchargers on the top of the motor. But for right now, with the car sitting, since it is winter here, it's kind of shelving the project for now. I'll keep you posted though, I like all the pics you have, I saved them, and I keep looking back at them, thanks. Keith

judging by the level of 1st hand knowledge portrayed in this thread, i'd say this is a really, really difficult project given your level of experience......good luck with it, you're going to need it.

Re: what do you think of my twin-M62 super charger project?

Well, I am friends with a machine shop owner, I've built 8 motors, and the last one was a 650 horse pontiac motor, so I know a few things about engines. I've got a lot of books on engines also and a few on superchargers. I never claimed to be a genious, but I know a few things, but I'll take help from anyone, I appreciate it. But I decided to come up with this plan, but I've still got a lot of work and time that needs to go into this project. But when I'm getting more done with this project, I'll let you all know.

Alientated how? The way I am going to do this project, isn't just doing it, but a more serious method, that will look great under the hood, and may make it into a magazine sometime, but I have appreciated anyones good or bad comments, but all the help is very appreciated.

Repeatedly stating how unique, different and superior what you’re doing is and how you’re going to patent it when there are at least 2 or 3 people on this board and a few more that I know of that have been there and done that is a great way of annoying people. Add in a couple of things that other’s have already commented on and I’m betting that you’ve got mostly an audience out of morbid curiosity. For now I'm just attributing it to you being too young to realize how you're comming across and to know any better.
