Rear Seat Delete Kit

I already took out my back seats now I just need to know what steps to take to make this. I am going to make a bench with subs for the back facing towards the driver and passenger seat. I might make them 12" or 10". The amp + capacitor will be on the bench. Should I just use plywood and staple carpet to it? Where should I screw everything into?

Re: Rear Seat Delete Kit

You are probably better off asking this in the stereo forum. But I'm pretty sure most people use mdf for sub boxes And I think I would make it bolt to where the seat used to mount some how.

Re: Rear Seat Delete Kit

Also, I believe you want the subs facing your rear hatch. I think (if I remember correctly) for good sound the bass have to bounce off of the hatch (the reason hatchbacks get great bass). I might be wrong though.
