where can I get fire resistant foam?

I want to make a base plate for my air cleaner and use foam to seal it to the hood. I know I can buy plates like this, but I would rather make my own. does anyone know where I could find the foam? I'll probably need something about 3 inches thick.

Get the replacement Moroso air pan foam at Summit or Jegs, it's what I used for mine. Summit part number, MOR-97070

if your talkin about the red fireproof stuff hilti makes it dries real hard. the gray stuff dont dry at all, not sure if the gray is made by hilti maybe 3m. either way the brand has nothing to do with the question. google found me this http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/206174628/fireproof_foam.html
