aero gfx idea

i was wondering if anyone has ever thought about extending the aero gfx about 2" lower giving our cars more of a slammed look? or just taking a regular pre 91- 92 gfx kit and extending it and molding your own vents? i was thinking about that too and then running tubes from the vents to the brakes...

Re: aero gfx idea

Yeah, thought about it. For it to be functional you need a lower splitter or air dam in the front to creat low pressure. Once the low pressure is created the side skirts can seal the pressure underneith the full underbody.

I'm considering using riv nuts to attach roll plastic to the ground effects. Either use the factory ground effects, or make a new set out of alluminum sheet and a brake. Use roll plastic to put it almost to the ground. Scrub-to-fit.

Re: aero gfx idea

i was thinking of just making a fiberglass mold and reinforcing the back with metle brackets and that panel adhesive from 3m that we use in the auto collision industry to glue cars together
