homemade hood blisters

was wondering if i was to make a mold of a set of original hood blisters "by use of my buddys vaccum former" and make these out of fiberglass.? then use actual bolt threads to mount them and if i did a good job and showed great fitment on a stock iroc/z28 hood if anyone be interested in buying these from me. ill see what i can do if there is even a little bit of response ill give this a try...thanks

and just if you dont know what im talking about they were only on 91 92 z28 and they are the scoops in the middle of the hood. very nice and very cool!!

Re: homemade hood blisters

I like the '91-'92 hood blisters much better than the louver type on earlier models. Maybe some people would go for carbon fiber hood blisters? I'm happy w/ the fiberglass ones.

Re: homemade hood blisters

well id sell them for way less so id sell them quick. i was thinking of something like the first five to buy would get them for how much it is to constuct them and shipping the lowest i could offer so everyone could see the fitment and have some feedback from them.

Re: homemade hood blisters

What about making blisters that would fit a stock flat hood? Maybe install with adhesive rather than bolts?
