Quick pipe/tube bending info on scaling up

Ok Im kinda thinking out loud here and hope IM right, but maybe someone can offer some info. This is not anthing for my car or any car but the info should be the same for any size tube on how you scale up proper.

Im moving up from 1/2 in the 3/4 in and I got it all down with 1/2in, but don't want to waste allot of material figuring out my bends in 3/4in.

Since the die to bend 3/4 is bigger / also a bit longer, and as such I won't get as tight of a bend. Which is fine, long as the end, end up where I need them.

just going by length, the 3/4 die is 1-1/2 in longer,

so my first mark is usually 8in from the end of the tube for 1/2in, which I center in the die and bend.

Do I split the difference or make the mark at 9-1/2?

Or is there some kind of free formula I could / should use???

Manual hydro bender, no computer, or software, trial n error for the most part but don't have allot of 3/4in on hand to waste.

yeah, if there are no instructions telling you what the take up or stub length will be, you have to do it the old fashioned way, trial and error.
