Re: Speedo & RPM Reading

If the car has alot of miles, chances are your tach is off. Mine was 4-500rpm off on the bottom and 9-1100rpm off on top! Went to a AutoMeter Pro-Comp and couldn't be happier. Now I can truly hit my peak power rpms before shifting.
I also replaced my speedo cable and it helped. You have to remember these cars are old, and moving parts wear out over time....

I checked it out, doesn't seem to be an attack site, however Mcafee is a terrible thing to trust fyi.

well seeing as I have been using Mcafee since version 1.0......I think I will trust it more than someone with 1 post . Especially since I have never gotten a virus

hey man I was just trying to teach you something, I work with computers for a living, Mcafee is not one of the better antivirus anymore, and just because Mcafee has not told you that you have a virus does not mean you do not have one, most viruses do not even slow your computer down so you would never know. One reason Mcafee is not very good is because it is very popular since many OEM comp manufactures bundle it with new computers such as dell, lenovo... Since it is so popular the hackers who create viruses make them specifically to get around Mcafee so that they can get a lot of people. I only have one post count as I created the account just to view and learn, I really know nothing about cars, however I love camaros and am excited to learn. However since I know a lot about computers, windows, mac, linux, antivirus, I thought I would chime in.
if your interested in a better and free antivirus try avg. best paid would be nod32 which nasa uses or trend micro
Ps dont take my word for it, go to a computer forum and ask there, I am sure you will get similar answers to mine.
That being said even if you were using the best antivirus that doesn't mean whatever it says is the truth, new viruses come out all the time and anti virus are not 100%
