| 1983 Daytona Trans Am pace car for $ale just as the title says.the car has been sitting for 11 years so I changed the plugs, cap, rotor, wires, oil, filter, fuel filter, poured in a can of sea foam and put in a good battery. the car does run but it really runs as though it has a vacume leak.at first I though it might be the fuel pump but I am pretty convinced it is a vacume leak b/c my 84 ran excatly like this once when the power brake boost hose was off. the car has had some front end damage. I put another hood on the car along with a diff drivers side fender (correct T/A fender) I also put on another front bumper cover that is correct.I do have another aluminum from bumper but as of yet I have not put that on. I have a coulpe diff left headlight assembly so one of those would go with the car as well. I have a copy of the original build sheet.what is missing on the car are as follows, the guage cluster (I might have another but not positive), temp controls are there but it looks as though it has been taken apart.the Recaro's, the aero wheels and caps, and the rear spare tire cover and ground effects are all gone. the car will come with a set of tires, seats and a spare tire cover but it wouldn't match the color of the rest of the other panels. the rear end is not original, it is a drum brake rear end and not the original disk brake rear end, but the master cylinder and prop valve are the original disk brake set.this would be a great project since everything under the hood is there and the car already runs and drives (granted really rough right now).the car is rock solid!!!! rear quarter panels are darn near mint. $750 take it. |
