For a decent offer you'll get a firebird with a special vin and with no special parts

Originally it was a TTA # 656. I couldn't get anywhere near what I wanted for the complete running car so I parted the good stuff. I was in the process of procuring the parts for my V8 swap. One thing leads to another and it's up for sale. A fair offer takes it.......

What I have left is the following.....

Now it has a V8 cluster, SFC's, walbro 340, big brakes, etc. Complete interior 7.5 outta 10, boost gauge, knock gauge, I'll throw in a sd harness and 730 ecm to get you started. The interior is leather, it is a T-Top car and the a/c has been removed and a heater only box installed.

I do not have any TTA parts left to go with this car. Title is clear and has 76,000 miles on it (the V8 cluster mileage is off and will need to be corrected to the actual mileage on title......

There is a flowmaster catback as well.....

I'd prefer a local sale, but if you wanna make the trip it's a real nice roller with some good options............

here are three spots that need a little attention, just surface blemishes nothing bad.

1st pic is below the door handle, a small bubble again nothing deep.

2nd is a small tear in the rear seat cushion on the drivers side.

3rd is the left fender where the previous owner decided he wanted to rip off the TTA emblems

The car is clean but will need paint. I may or may not include the rims(if not a set of gold gta rims will be put on it for the sale......

power antenna stays up(as do many), interior in good shape for it's age. No ripping of the front seats, dashboard in very good shape, carpet in good shape. rear wing still in very good shape. Car would be great for auto X. Has all the 1LE stuff with sfc's already in it already....

Weird question why would you take a turbo trans am, and convert it to v8 thats kinda strange Im not trying to insult you or anything Im just curious?

When you look at the value of thses cars it wasn't worth it for me to sell it whole. I couldn't get $8K for it when the buildup was finally done. I've gotten more than that already by parting it. I didn't want anything to do with that turbo V6 anymore.

Instead of taking a bath on it I parted it. Even now by accepting an offer for the roller I'm way ahead of the game. Other 3rd gen owners look at the TTA as the crown jewel of third gens it's still an f-body! It'll never command the same price of a nice GN not to mention a GNX.

I have all the stuff needed for the swap I'm just interested in another car and will try to pursue it by selling this one.......

How much do you think it would cost to put the turbo v6 back in it? I'd like to have it but i wouldnt want it with a v8.

It wouldn't be TTA parts, you could use GN parts to get the buick back in it.

It wouldn't be a ton it's just finding good deals on a good GN drivetrain to use.

Try TurboBuick.Com - The World Wide Web under BOOST! - Buick Grand National, GNX, T-Type The classifieds usually have most of what you'd need...

GN headers and crossover will work since the a/c has been deleted. You'll need a new dp made. A wiring harness would prolly be around $500 or so(painless would be easiest or find a TTA harness) and the rest from intake to pan would be sourced from a Grand National.........

I'm just trying to sell the car. I know the seats, brakes, body panels etc. could make more, but anyone that comes close to my asking gets the car.

And possibly anything else I have for it......

Have a plenum and TB for a turbo buick. A 60-1 turbo(might need rebuilding), A stock dp elbow.............

Just need it moved!

its actually an 86 t-type with the WH1 (designer series ) option , hardtop bucket console car
much rarer than the 86 GN , same 3.8 SFI turbo intercooled power plant as the GN but in a lighter car .

Hopefully this buick treats me better. The last one really left a bad taste in my mouth. I'll go for looks first then performance......

She lists at 3280or so minus the bumoers and spare I might be be to get her down into the 3100's. Think the stocker has enough for 11's
