You will have to go to my posting at the above link for the photos.

For some reason you cannot reattach photos to a new post if they have been already uploaded? Unless I am doing something wrong?

I am located in Metairie Louisiana, which is just outside of New Orleans.

As far as I can tell, the crank snout broke when I was cruising on the freeway.

I coasted the car to an exit and had it towed to my home.

It is still as it was since the incident.

I have contacted my engine machinist to get a quote on a new forged crank in the mean time.

I figure that a good home mechanic can take advantage of this situation to get a pristine rare convertible TA with all the accessories.

Since the car is in otherwise great condition I am looking for $10,000.

Once the engine is rebuilt, you will have a wonderful rare convertible TA with nothing left to add.

I have taken care of everything else as you can see in my past posts.

Yea. I am currently making plans to have the engine rebuilt with forged components and plan to keep it for a while. I figured selling a car with a bad engine would not be the best, but another list member sold a similar convertible for over $12,000.

However, I really did not want to let it go, but didn't have time to rebuild myself.

Found a shop that will.

Hope to be back on the road in a few months with all forged internals.

You can still get reproduction sheet metal from Year One. Can you have it repaired? Even if totaled, you should have the option to buy it back and make the repairs.

What you drooling over Cadillac????

You lookin for a Procharger???

Maybe I will sell the custom Willie dual intercooler setup seperate from the car.

Anyone interested?

Actually, as another option I may be selling as is on Ebay. Or might sell the Procharger seperately to an interested list member and then list the car.

The Procharger has less than 5,000 miles of usage on a regurlarly driven car.

I will box it up and ship it for $3,600.

Only thing you will need is the inline fuel pump.

I would rather not have to redo all of the fuel lines for the reduction of the pump.

I will take photos of the installation inplace as there were no real instructions for the custom setup.

Re: 1991 Conv. TA Procharged For Sale

Interesting how there are so many threads on doing power mods and getting the special dual intercooler set up.

I forgot I even had this post and it came up on a google for supercharged 91 TA.

Just for the record, I kept the TA and put almost $10 k into a forged engine rebuild. All still supercharged with the Willie Set Up.

All I can say is that I am soooo glad to still have this rare and special TA.

Thanks to all for the help in building this special TA.
