just bought a 86 plain jane firebird last night with a 2.8MFI V6 and 5speed. open 3.42 drum axle. its really a nice car with alot of potential, but all i'm interested in is the 5 speed trans/hydraulics ect...
runs and drives good, passenger side fender is messed up, body has no rust with the exception of the drivers side floor pan near the area beneath the drivers feet.
i will sell the car whole, minus 5speed setup (still will have clutch, which is supposedly new and bellhousing.) for 500, new tires and battery included.
will also trade whole car, complete as is for a truley COMPLETE 5 speed setup for a V8 car. if car does not sell semi-quick it will be parted out, parts sold cor cash or traded for remaining V8 pieces i need, like 2piece rear main flywheel and bellhousing.
thank you for his email, i do appreciate it. i've been speaking with brendan for a while now, and have got quite a few parts from him, i also would highly recomend dealing with him, very honest, all his parts have been great, and very fair prices.
he has 2 V8 5 speed cars but one is sold and the other he intends to fix for himself.
nice body minus fender, dash is cracked but rest of interior is pretty nice runs great, PO claims to have a new clutch installed, and feel like it may be a true claim, new, battery, rad hoses and coolant with recent tune-up. pics sent upon request (having trouble loading pics)
