| Powerwagon for sale/trade for 3rd Gen. Hi,I am intrested in aquiring another third generation F-body.I must either sell or trade my current toy though.Whta I have is a 1988 Dodge Ram 100 series pickup that started life out as a basic no frills 318 two wheel drive truck.Over the course of the last few years the cab and body were removed and installed onto a 1979 Powerwagon Chassis. The powerwagon body was to far gone to save so the frame was in excellent shape and then fully sandblasted and coated with POR 15.Next the 360 was removed and discarded and made way for a freshl mildly built 1971 440 engine(receipts and pics of the work done) mated to a standard rebuilt 3 speed 727 trans. The rears are fully rebuilt Dana 60 units running 4:10 gears with detroit lockers in both rears. The front rear has new U-joints,ball joints and the steering system was rebuilt as well(tie rod ends etc...).The truck sits upon a 8 inch rough country suspension lift with all new springs and shocks. The front has dual steering stabilizers and the truck goes down the road straight. The wheels are American Racing Outlaw 2's on BF Goodrich 35's with 95 percent tread left. The truck also has a full exhaust from the headers back into two new high flow cats then into the Magnaflow system so it sounds as mean as it is.The bumpers were hand made from steel and the front bumper has two square cutouts with built in foglights with steel mesh guards and two KC daylighters sit on the bumper deck under the steel brush guard.I would bet that the bumpers alone could outlast any over the counter units like you see on todays SUV's.The body is in good shape but the metallic light blue paint has definatly seen better days as it is chipping in some places and the roof has had it.The interior is in good shape with new carpet, gauges and a Alpine detachable head units streams through two aftermarket door speakers and two 10 inch MTX boxes hide behind the seat.I like the truck but I honestly have no use for it.Im not an off road buff and its to big to blend in with todays SUV's.To top this truck off nice all it needs is paint. If you are looking for something to off road in or need a truck to show up that annoying Subaru or SUV in your way then this is it.For as big as it is the truck can move. Its never been dynoed but we are guessing that the 440 is putting out about 400 HP.Now what I am looking for is a 1989-1992 Firebird Formula and may even consider a Trans Am.The car must be a TPI car and the 5.7 is prefered. It can be either a hardtop or T-Topped but I will only consider cars that are in stock appearance and havent been beaten on like most of the third gens you see today. So that means no kids backyard project with racing stripes covered in stickers with electrical problems.I take very good care of my vehicles and would appreciate the same in a vehicle if someone were to present me an intresting deal.I have pictures of the truck for those intrested and it is located in Northern NJ. |
