Only minor defect on the entire car is the drivers seat has a 2" slow rip starting in the seat which any uphulstry(sp?) place can fix. Car has been very well taken care of and pampered all its life i have owned it, which is approx 9 years. I am the 3rd owner. Car has had a complete repaint approx 3 years ago, with new moldings and decal kit. Hood, fenders, bumper covers have been replaced with GM OEM parts. Transmission was just rebuilt about 10thou ago and still has warranty with it. 2500 stall torgue converter was added along with a B&M stage 2 shift kit. Street driving around car does not get above 160-175 degrees. Steering is nice and tight with no play at all. Car has a nice rumble to it but doesnt make you do deaf when driving down the road. I have taken this car on vacation to maine for the past 4 years and it has not left me stranded once. My desktop comp is in for repairs so i will get pics up asap. Very nice car TorchRay...I have one just like it and I see you had it repainted. Where did you find the tape that seperates the silver and red?
Thanks and free bump to you!
97ram---- My body shop guy was able to duplicate them from a template that he had. Might want to check out your local body shop. I was lucky cause is just doesnt look right without it..lol...

Thanks...I will do that. I cant beleive that none of the restoration decal places carries it. If I cant find it or get it made right like you did I am just going to have to go solid red I guess. Thanks, and again very nice car!
Re: 1989 Formula EX condition, lots of new GM parts MUST SEE
I'm curious as to why you all of a sudden decided to re-open your posting of this car being for sale after almost exactly 2 years? I have a friend that is looking for a GTA or an IROC for about $4k in good condition but your car is very nice. The only problem is that what you have as for information and pics is from 2 years ago. What is the condition of the car now compared to when you were posting back then? I would guess some things have changed such as wear or something, right? Let me know, if the car is in near the same condition as before then I might be able to sway him to take interest in yours instead. Thanks.
Re: 1989 Formula EX condition, lots of new GM parts MUST SEE
Car is in the EXACT same condition as it was when i previously listed the vehicle for sale. However as you stated before 2 years is a long time and a few things have changed. The fuel system(injectors, pump, sending unit, ext) went on the car and the vehicle was not drivable. I have put $1300.00 just in the fuel system along(HAVE RECEIPTS) so that is all brand new. All of the pictures and things i have listed that the car has had done is 100% and nothing is hidden. I was asking $6,000 for this car because of everything that i had put into it. The vehicle has been stored in a garage all the time its been listed for sale, but recently when i have been checking on it peridically and starting it up ive noticed that the rear spoiler is showing stress cracks. So that would need to be replaced eventually. I have a parts catalog so i can help out whoever purchases the car there. If you want any more inforationon the car or any other pictures feel free to let me know. Thanks for checking out the post. Ray

Forgot to mention, vehicle has a valid inspecton sticker and passed MA's PITA emissions testing. If you purchase the car and live in MA they have just changed the inspection laws around. Vehicles older than 1994 do not have to pass emissions, just a safety....just a little fyi....

Hey Ray, it's actually no emissions for '95 and older now, not '94.
Good luck on the sale. I saw your car at a car show in Palmer this past summer (I think it was this summer, but time flies) and it looked awesome.

ahh thanks for the correction bull....and thanks for the compliments. You car is awesome too..and has the rarety of being a 92. Good luck with your sale as well.
Re: 1989 Formula EX condition, lots of new GM parts MUST SEE
the vehicle was hit in the front end. Fenders, hood, hinges, bumper support, bumper cover, lights...ect. Parts were all ordered from different vendors and car was PROFESSIONALLY put back together. Car still holds a CLEAN title which i have in hand.
