1986 Trans AM
Dark red exterior
Gray cloth interior
Auto and 4 BBL (not TPI)
T-Roofs
A/C and all other power options work
24,XXX miles (Yes not a misprint)
Car is owned by a little old lady...and by here late husband.
Friends of my family.
Car is perfect and not perfect at the same time
PERFECT
Everything works perfectly and the car has never been in an accident. Never had any major mechanical issues and been to the local mechanic every year in the Spring to change oil and do anything necessary from sitting in the Garage for the winter. Never driven in snow and seldom in rain. No leaks that I am aware of, but have not confirmed that for sure. The T-roofs have never been off the car...Really they never took them off.
There is more but I will not bore you now.
NOT PERFECT
Both owners had eye problems...no joke one had bad sight and the other is blind in the right eye. There are some scratches and a few stains on the carpet. Most of the scratches look to be in the clear only, I am going to wax it soon to be sure. Only real issue I saw was on the drivers side pillar, looks like something hit it, I will find out what.
Look guys and Gals, I am new here so I don't expect you all to jump up and send me $10+K in the mail. Come out and see the car or have someone do it for you...I think everyone here follows what the low mile versions of these cars as well the Camaro's are doing $$$ wise and will hopefully only rise.
No pictures I am proud of at the moment, car needs a bath, was outside at the mechanic for a couple weeks (not in rain they took it in) and has pollen and a few bird poops on it (in the pics)
I will/should have good pics next Tuesday...but if interested, please don't wait, I may buy it myself...just have a wife that would rather I don't.

Most cars don't actually sell on eBay...too much shill bidding and dishonest idiots. I have seen after bidding/before etc...so many pieces of junk that had low mile and were perfect...original...wow they for got to mention the 3 lbs of puddy...
GM made a milliion F-Bodies, and most of them were owned by guys like us in the 80's and 90's
I had in order...'84 Z2* w/HO, '86 Sport Coupe w/8 Cyl, '85 IROC 5-spd and an '86 Z28. 1st one was in '89 and last one was in '94. Not one of them was fit to drive when I was finished...I beat the crap out of every one of them...just like the guys I bought them from.
F-Bodies, 1 owner, low miles and original are not going to come into their own, they are already there. They are starting to get sticker for them at auctions, I am sure mos people here have been watching and smiling and crying over the ones they let get away.
My experience has been, nice and higher priced cars don't sell on forum sites, I just figured I would put it out there. I see guys all day put some beautiful Vette's on Corvette Forum, priced right & in a month, they are scratching their heads.
Anyway, pull the trigger if you are thinking about this one. It may get sold to her mechanic.
