1984 "IRON DUKE" 4cylinder Firebird

Now is your chance to own a unique piece of thirdgen fbody history.

After 10 years of ownership, I've decided to sell my beloved Iron Duke powered Firebird.

This car is still pretty solid. It has typical issues for a 23 year old car. There is some rust on the doors and a few places on the floor pans.

The engine and trans still run strong. Overall the car needs some work. I do not have the time nor the money to invest in it. (I have many other priorities in my life at this point).

I have lots of extra parts for this car if you are interested in them as well.

Stats:
2.5L Iron Duke 4cyl Fuel Injected
5 speed manual transmission (from an 83 Firebird)
4th Gen Firebird seats
Rear cargo screen
CD player from 1995 Sunfire
16" Formula Wheels (lots of tread left on tires).
Wonderbar
Front/Rear sway bars from WS6 Formula
Poly end links (car runs on rails)
Tinted 84 Trans Am taillights.
Front Headlights still function properly (no "droopy eyes")
Interior plastics and dash are immaculate.

$1500 and it will include a formula hood and extra set of fenders and extra interior panels too.

Car is located near Evansville, Indiana
Call:
(812)483.2277 Cell
(812)985.7945 Home (evenings)

Picture of seats being installed in car.

The trusty Iron Duke. I've since removed the A/C compressor.

Hate to see you not keeping it Bill. I'd like to have it just to try and turbo the duke (among other reasons for wanting it).
Sucks to be poor.

I'd like to have it as well. But I am broke as well. Would you be interested in a trade? I've got a 1989 chevy work van I'm looking to move. Oh yea, then there is that distance thing too. Oh well.

Good Luck!!

Is the bird worthy of a trip to Columbus, In? Can you post some interior pics and possibly dash pics with engine at operating temp...showing oil pressure, and temp etc....
