i have a white 88 trans am w/t-tops.was a tpi but the previous owner did a hackjob on the wiring harness so it would cut off going down the road,i think it was something with the temp sensor and coldstart, not to sure.i did a carb swap on it using a 600 edelbrock performer carb, and a edelbrock performer rpm manifold.got a msd 6al ignition and replaced the original distributer with a gm hei,has the msd wiring to run it thru the hei cap,but you can buy a msd cap for like $30.it has a dynomax catback on it.shortly after doing the carb swap the trans was leaking bad.i thought it was the pan but turned out to be the input shaft seal.well it ended up blowin out going down the road.since i was building it for speed i didn't see the point in putting a stock trans back in.got a new 700r4 from monster transmissions built to hold 500hp with a 2k stall and shift kit.the trans was $1500 and another $500 to have it installed.the price is $1800 and it's firm,i have over 3k in this car,but i just don't have time for it anymore.the tv cable needs to be adjusted and new fans hooked up,to get it back on the road.http://www.cardomain.com/member_page...590_1_full.jpghttp://www.cardomain.com/member_page...590_3_full.jpghttp://www.cardomain.com/member_page...590_2_full.jpghttp://www.cardomain.com/member_page...590_4_full.jpghttp://www.cardomain.com/member_page...590_2_full.jpg i can get more pics and email if you'd like .let me know what you think.

just to put it out there would be willing to trade for a decent v8 5sp camaro,or the old lady has always wanted a honda del-sol,so a good running one of those would be a even trade.
slap me a email and I'll send you the pics...
The Blazer is a 1990 S10 Blazer Sport 2wd I rebuilt the engine in 2000 and the tranny in 2005 the engine has about 40,000miles on it and the tranny has maybe 8,000miles on it... basic problems for the truck, headliner is falling due to the heat and all the power options work pw, drl. rear window release, with the exception of the cruise control.... the truck was my fathers and he past away earlier this year... I was gonna drop a small block chevy in it... but to many memories... the truck has be driven once a month since feb.. just to keep the battery up and everything moving... the yukon is a 97 and has 125,000 mile on it... newer tires.. michelin lt's... everything works with the exception of the rear defogger and a/c... the blazer also had all the a/c stuff replaced and charged up in 2006... still blows cold... both vehicles came factory with the towing package and both run strong... pick one and lets make a deal.... my email addy is the_bandit2000@hotmail.com
here's some more pics.i see these cars go for alot more than this with this much done to them.the trans will never have to be upgraded again unless you push more than 500hp.let's deal.
the only wiring problem it had was solved when i carb'd the motor.the cpu has no control ovr anything on the motor.and i'd have to see the iroc
pics of IROC are in my VBgarage, as well as some others posted in forums, trying to trade it out. custom interior (firebird console and radio swap), changed red to black, white face gauges etc etc etc
the car doesn't look bad but if i was gonna trade for a iroc it would have to be blue and 5spd,i'm a trans am man.but i think i would rather just get the money.

believe mei understand, ill keep my eyes here and see if i decide to sell the car outright. thanks for your time man
cmon guys noone.it's got a brandnew trans from monstertransmissions.com in it with 40 miles on it.the carb setup has like 100 miles, these are all brand new parts so to speak.the parts alone are worth what i'm asking, let alone the car itself.

so do the fans work at all? so i know how fast i have to go comming home ;-)
there is only minor surface rust on the hatch by the spoiler and that's it.this car was from tx. and now is in tn.needs paint, but couldn't ask for a straighter body.

thats good, im sure the hatch can be fixed, and even if not i can easily get another scrap one with good metal. rust is kinda scary when its on your floors and or so bad that the car feels like its going to fall out on the road. im origionally from PA, so ive seen all kinds of rust, ive even eaten rust by accident workin on some cars in the shop. that really sucks *gag* haha
here's a little vid of the car moving now that i advanced the timing.it's running nice and smooth again.still needs more power in my opinion, cam heads etc,but some people would be happy with this.

Reason: Automerged Doublepost
None of the pictures show it, but is the black front splitter/air dam piece that hangs under the radiator area there still on the car or no? Only reason I ask is if the car overheats with one fan, it is probably because that is not in place. I only ever run on one fan as my a/c wasn't working for a while until recently and the high fans didn't come on at that time. I never had an overheating issue and drove it in traffic plenty in south Florida. If it is not there, it is worth the $25 bucks give or take to throw it on there to say it doesn't overheat is all :-p
actually neither of the fans work now because i didn't put a sensor in the manifold and was gonna run a fan to a switch so it wasn't running if i didn't want it to.so it does fine as it's cruising down the road but it heat's up kinda fast if it sit's for more than 30 seconds when it's already warmed up.
