| 1990 Trans Am GTA-Ohio !!!SOLD!!! I am selling off my newly aquired TA. It needs some love, but is a great platform to start with. It is a 305TPI car with an automatic trans and posi rear. I have the RPO codes from the console that I can send a pic of. The chassis has 175K miles itself, but supposedly the engine/trans were rebuilt 40K miles ago. The car does not smoke upon startup and has great power for a 305 car.
The good:
All parts are there and not hacked up (including the wiring harness)
Almost new tires with the correct GTA wheels
Body is straight with only minor surface rust on doors/drivers wheel well
CD changer in hatch (radio controller less then desireable)
T-Tops
A/C kicks on and off, in need of charge
The bad:
Hatch is rusted out and not sure if wing is salvagable
Leather seats in need of repair
Paint is old
Piece connecting A.I.R. system to rubber hoses connecting to intake(?) has broken. Created an exhaust leak in engine bay and is sucking vacuum causing the engine to stumble on deceleration. I will try and get welded up this week. Could all be avoided with a set of headers.
Car just needs some attention, but I think it would make a nice driver for someone. I drove it home 3 hours without a problem and the cruise does work as well as all gauges.
Asking $2,500
Any questions email or PM me. I am located in Proctorville, OH 45669.
Thanks,
Chris

| Re: 1990 Trans Am GTA-Ohio The only way I could bring it to Columbus is if expenses were paid (extra $100) and I am not budging off $1,800. That is already ridiculously cheap for a good running TPI T-tops 3rd gen, especially a GTA.
Thanks for the offer,
Chris |

| Re: 1990 Trans Am GTA-Ohio Thanks for the response. I figure if I have it past the first of the year then I will start working on it. This is just a bad time of year for sales. I would consider a 3rd gen Camaro on trade-seem to like the body style better. I am the opposite way with the 4th gens though. |

Car: 91 GTA, T-top, Black on Black Engine: Installing a 350 SD TPI Transmission: Installing a WC T5 Axle/Gears: Installing a 10 bolt 3:42 disc posi | Re: 1990 Trans Am GTA-Ohio Even though it needs some work, there was only 1,447 GTAs made in 90 and thats the lowest production number from 87-90. The 92 GTA is the rarest with only 508 made. In the 87-90 body styles the 90 was the only year with a speed density TPI intake. Just thought I mention that for a rare GTA for a good price. I'm sure you will get what you want for it on Ebay if nobody buys it from here. |

| Re: 1990 Trans Am GTA-Ohio Thanks Dokken for the info. It is a damn nice car for the asking price and a special edition at that. I think it is a steal at this price. I may try that after Christmas, just really like doing business on the boards though. I have sold 3rd gen Z28s in far worse condition for more in the past.
Merry Christmas to all!!!

Gary, I am still giving you first option on the car. Just let me know a good time to call ya. I am off this weekend.
DTA, if Gary doesn't take it and you get it sold for 2K, I'll give you a finders fee
Also have a nice trade offer on the car, but I would like it sold more.

Gary if you ever get down this way with your TA, call me. I would love to see it in person. |

I am thinking of pulling it off the market soon if it doesn't sale. Either do some work on it or sale it after tax time for a more fair price to me. |

| Re: 1990 Trans Am GTA-Ohio NM. I asked a buddy about the car and it will involve a lot more work than I had thought. I'll pass on this one unless you can knock a few hundred off to help cover replacing the door skin(s), hatch, and what not. |

| Re: 1990 Trans Am GTA-Ohio LOL, guys I am just not getting this. Everybody is wanting something for nothing these days. I think I will take it off the market for now and wait until Feb and tax season and put it back up for $2,200. The car runs good has T-tops and all factory parts. The doors look more then reusable and it does need a new hatch. $200 in parts from someone parting out or a junkyard. I have sold worse looking cars that needed as much if not more for almost 3K. |
