IM SELLING MY 1987 PONTIAC GTA. ITS WHITE WITH GRAY CLOTH INTERIOR. 5 SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION AND CHEVY 350 MOTOR. OTHER OPTIONS INCLUDE POWER EVERYTHING YOU CAN THINK OF, POSI DRUM REAREND, T-TOPS, OVER HEAD CONSOLE.

THE GOOD: THE INTERIOR IS IN MINT CONDITION (9 OUT OF 10)THE BODY HAS NO RUST AT ALL AND ONLY A COUPLE OF DINGS IN THE FENDERS (1 OR 2)CAR HAS 54K OR 56K ORIGINAL MILES ON IT ( I CHECKED THE CARFAX TO BE SURE WHEN BUYING THE CAR) THE ENGINE IS A 350 CHEVY MOTOR OUT OF AN 89 IROC-Z. ENGINE HAS A REBUILT TOP END INCLUDING VORTEC HEADS INTAKE LT-4 HOT CAM NEW DISTRIBUTOR, AND HEADERS. THE BOTTOM END WAS FRESHEND UP WITH NEW BEARING OIL PUMP, FRONT AND REAR MAIL SEALS. THE TRANSMISION WAS OUT OF A 89 RS CAMARO WITH 67K MILES ON IT SHIFTS FINE WITH NO PROBLEMS. REAR END WAS JUST COMPLETLY REBUILT WITH A MASTER OVERHAUL KIT (ALL THE SEALS AND BEARINGS NEW) THE GEARS WERE UPGRADED TO 373:1 AND THE POSI UNIT WAS CHECKED OUT AND WAS TOLD TO BE IS IN GREAT SHAPE. THE EXHAUST IS ALL BRAND NEW (FROM THE HEADERS TO THE TAIL PIPES) ALL THE LIGHTS AND ALL THE SWITCHES WORK.

THE BAD: DURING HURRICANE IVAN A TREE BRANCH FELL ON THE HOOD AND GOT THE FENDERS ALSO. I HAVE REPLACED THEM WITH ONES FROM A WHITE PARTS CAR I HAVE. BODY JUST NEEDS TO BE PAINTED TO BE PERFECT,BUT IT LOOKS GOOD AS IS.THE MOTOR USED TO BE FUEL INJECTED (TPI) BUT THE WIRING FOR THE INJECTORS WERE MESSED UP SO I CARBURATED IT. THE SPEEDOMETER QUITE WORKING WHEN I PUT THE TRANSMISSION IN. ENGINE ALSO RUNS A LITTLE RICH BUT JUST NEEDS A SLIGHT TUNING.THE CAR RUNS VERY STRONG!I'M ASKING HALF OF MY INVESTMENT, MY LOSS YOUR GAIN. 4500.00 OBO ANY QUESTIONS CALL MY CELL @ (631)807-1032 THANKS....DENNIS.

I'd be willing to make a deal with you as long as its for sure (proven)GTA.
Mine isn't,but is very nice and is tpi w/ceramic coated hooker 2460's w/y-pipe and flowmaster.
I would only be willing to trade if you can put up $500+car for mine.

Well,just look at my photobucket album and picture the missing headlights which are now installed.I have not had a chance to take recent pics.
I just finished installing the int. today.
It has black leather 4th gen seats w/power driver side only.

well mine is a gta but i took the rpo sticker off the original center console when i replaced it but miss placed it. is there another way to prove it is a gta? or would i need to strip search my shed?

Go to a GM dealer, give them the VIN, they can give you a printout of options on the car.

Oh, I hear you. I think you are better off listing it locally if you want more than minimum dollar. Especially with the time of year it is and money as tight as it is lately with most people. If you hold out until March/April when tax returns start coming in, it should be easier.
