I have a 1986 Pontiac Firebird 305 Carbed V8, 5 speed manual. I'm looking to sell it because I just need the money right now. I love the car and will be buying another one once I graduate school and can get myself back on track. But for now, it's gotta go.
It's 1986, in good condition. Interior needs work, engine and transmission work wonderfully. No bad noises, no problems. It does have t-tops and they do not leak at all. Car is solid. Paint job was done just before I bought the car is still looks good.
Looking to get $1250 for the car. It's located in Norton, Massachusetts right on Route 140. I don't live there anymore, but my father/brother do and are willing to answer any questions and let people look at the car. Call 774-265-0146 and ask for Mike.
I will take pictures today of the interior. It is a problem area for sure. I'm going home today, so I'll get some more pics for you guys as it sits now.
As for as rust, the undercarriage is good. No problems, no rusting through. The car is solid. The engine is strong as my father and I replaced all the sensors and alot of the wiring. THe head gasket had blown, so re replaced that, had the heads professionally rebuilt and cleaned, and rebuilt the carb and distributor while it was apart. The transmission has a brand new clutch and rear main seal on the engine. It runs and drives great. Brakes work great. No weird noises or problems with the engine/transmission/chassis at all.
If anyone would like to see it, you can see it week nights and weekends. Someone's almost always home.
Sorry about the long delay on a response, but I broke my ankle Saturday riding my motorcycle. I didn't get the pics for you guys, and as for the price, I really hate to go less then 1250. I may take a grand if I have trouble selling it.
To explain the interior, the rear seats and plastics are all in good condition. The drivers and passenger seat is badly torn up, but still works. I have covers on the to help them hold together. But they will need to be reupholstered or replaced. The center console and radio pod are both maimed. They need to be replaced. The dash pad has been cut to allow 5 1/4" speakers to be put on top. This was how I bought it.
Thanks for the reply but i bought a nice 87 camaro from florida. I put a message to another member on here about a firebird but i guess they have a
a lot of money because no respone from him. Why bother listing them. Thanks Steve
