1991 Firebird 305 TPI, T-tops $3500 OBO (Chicago area) - Third Generation F-Body Message Boards

1991 Pontiac Firebird. This car is white with a gray interior and is VERY nice inside and out. It is loaded with power windows, locks, mirrors, and hatch as well as T-tops!!! It also has a 305 TPI engine in it with 75,000 original miles. The suspension has been upgraded with WS6 springs and front sway bar along with a TDS steering brace. The car runs and drives great and everything is in excellent working condition.

Body --- The car is in very good condition with no body damage. It has about 120,000 original miles. The paint is about three years old and in VERY good condition. The car has little to no rust on the body panels. The bumpers and ground effects are also in great condition with no cracks or damage. It comes with glass T-tops that are in very good condition. The car has 16 inch Formula wheels that are very nice shape and 245/50-16 tires that are in good condition as well. Everything on the body works great including the headlight motors and the hood and hatch shocks are very strong as well.

Interior --- The interior is very clean and in good conditon. The seats are in very good condition with no tears or major stains or wear. The dashpad is also in excellent condition with no cracks or damage. The carpet and interior plastic are also nice. The only problems with the interior are very minor. The headliner fabric is starting to sag a little and the driver's cupholder is missing. Overall, you won't find an interior much nicer than this!!!

Engine --- The car has a 305 TPI engine with only 75,000 original miles. It is originally out of an '89 Trans Am but has a 90-92 speed density TPI on it. The engine has Edelbrock headers and a Flowmaster exhaust and high flow catalytic converter. It runs and sounds great!!! The transmission is a 700R4 automatic that works great. The engine compartment was recently repainted so it is very clean. The car originally had A/C but it wasn't put back on after swapping over to the TPI engine. However, it wouldn't be very hard to put it back on if you wanted to. The Edelbrock headers are emissions legal but the A.I.R. is not hooked up. However, it is easy to hook up if you need it.

This car is in very good condition and is much nicer than most you'll find. It is very clean inside and out and runs and drives great. Also, it has a TPI with T-tops which is a hard combination to find for the '91-'92 cars. If you've been looking to buy a nice Firebird this may be the car you've been waiting for. You won't find one of these much nicer than this one!!!

It's still available. It is a VERY nice car and a lot nicer than most other you'll find in this price range.

You say it's a speed density car, but I see a MAF sensor....?

It was in there just to fill the gap in the intake tract. It has now been replaced with a 90-92 piece so the MAF sensor is no longer there.
