I'm selling my GTA for around $3000 or OBO(willing to go down) trade for. I'm also interested in a trade for a 87-92 Firebird Formula with 350TPI and a hardtop, also interested in a IROC/Z28. This car is in really good mechanical condition and it has 170,000 miles on it. Since I've owned it since 2004 the car has been garaged during the winter and only occasionally driven during the summer. Was originally a 305TPI car, but I swapped a 350TPI in it.
-Brand new Engine with 10k miles on it total with oil changes every 2,000 miles.
-Brand new Transmission with all the Trans Go goods and with corvette servo with 10k miles on it.
-Brand new radiator.
-Brand new MAF, has K&N filter.
-New starter replaced 10k miles.
-Brand new brake pads and brake shoes.
-Rear tires have only year old tires and have been driven only for a year.
-New PROM for 350TPI and new Computer.
-Has decent paintjob, but will need a new one due to chipping and some minor rust because of previous owners neglect.
-I have extra parts: A in good working condition 700r4 out of another 87 GTA, original leather bra, and 305 TPI heads that I'm willing to throw into the deal.
-I have a 1987 Firebird (For all of the regular Firebird, Formula, Trans Am, and the GTA) GM SERVICE MANUAL that the dealerships used to use.
-Car is located in Central Wisconsin.
This GTA starts up right away and everything on it is mechanically sound. It just needs a new exhaust due to having the OEM one still on. I've driven the car all over Wisconsin and its very reliable. Any questions or if you want some more pictures I'll gladly answer you at my e-mail @ gruetzmacherb@ripon.edu.
As I was told by the previous owner was that a truck in a parking lot backed up into the GTA and mangled the nose and the hood, but didn't damage the frame. He gave me the front badging which I still have and he decided to replace the hood with a regular Firebird one.
