O.k guys here goes I finally got the GTA running good and strong and well now the trans is acting up so I am DONE with it!!!! Here is the rundown. 91 GTA white in color w/goldlace wheels with tan interior. 124,000 miles. Interior is immaculate with the exception of the headliner which is starting to sag. Seats carpet dash and doorpanels are SUPER clean. Mechanically we have, New fuel pump,injectors,MSD 6al box, blaster 2 coil,rebuilt distributor. as well a full tuneup. New front calipers,and pads. Rear shoes are also new. The A/c blows cold for about 2 minutes and falls off the compressor still runs so I am assuming the orfice is clogged. The car has a chip and a matched thermostat. This car has a ton of power with no smoke knocks or rattles and good oil pressure. Car also has " free breathing" cats and a cat bck exhaust. The worst of the car is the hood is beginning to peel as is the top but not terribly, The trans shifts fine as long as you dont step on it but then it sort of slides into gear, OD comes in and out as it wants, My trans guy said it sounds like the 3-4 clutches.I went to check the fluid and it is crystal clear but stinks so I am sure the previous owner had already tried a filter or a flush. I am just burnt out on spending time and money on this thing.There is ZERO rust in this car and I cannot find and evidennce of an accidents very straight!!! First $3000.00 takes it!!!!!!
