| 87 Trans am for sale washington DC 1987 Pontiac Trans Am that my brother purchased a while back with the understanding that i needed a starter, well turns out it didnt need a starter, the battery cable had melted and grounded to the header, so it needed a battery and a new cable, replaced the battery, cable, and starter, still didnt run, then i discovered after taking the car that the distributor was backwards, the firing order was WAY off, and the ignition control module was shot. i fixed all of that which was a bit costly, and replaced the coil, new plugs, accel 8mm wires. its got long tube headman headers. its automatic, the trans leaks from the dipstick tube seal, i replaced the gromet but it still leaks. car actually starts and runs. its got an electric fuel pump i believe its the holley blue lable(which ever is he higher performance one) and an adjustable regulator. it had a holley carb which i removed and put a factory QJet back on it from a 305ho monte carlo. and i installed a momentary switch for the starter because i believe the safety switch is fried cause it wont start wit the key unless u play with the shifter. dont mind the stuff u see in the car its my stuff thats being removed. please call me
