Car: Firebird, Audi, Camaro Engine: 5.7TBI, 5.7LT1, 2.8V6, 2.3I5 Transmission: 700R4, T56 coming soon | 1991 Firebird with LT1 and Fourthgen Interior - 3200 OBO NJ I've got a Red 1991 Firebird I'm selling. I bought this car about 3 years ago and have changed alot since then.
* Has a 350 LT1 Motor from a Caprice (5.7, NOT the 4.6) - The car was originally a 3.1L V6
* The Dash has been retrofitted and replaced with a 1995 Firebird dash
* Both front seats and rear seats are from a 1997 Camaro
* Rear end from an LT1 1997 Camaro
* New power steering pump
* New Water pump
* Center console from a 98 Camaro is installed
* Has headers and custom all Stainless steel exhaust 2 1/2 inch pipe on each side going to a Catalytic convertor (new), then 3 inch to the muffler. It has a flowmaster muffler. It's NOT a loud muffler - it just has a nice tone.
The car runs and drives, however my plans were to swap in a T56 6 speed transmission. The car was originally manual so the clutch pedal is there and so is the clutch fluid reservoir in the engine.
I have a rebuilt T56 transmission with a new 2nd gear and new synchros. I will include the transmission and it's bellhousing with the car for $1200. I also have a brand new unused Fidanza Aluminum flywheel that will fit that I will include for $150.
This car is a project of mine but I have moved to a Condo so I really don't have a place for a long term project anymore. I've been trying to put it off until I have a place to do the transmission swap but it looks like it will be awhile before that happens so I've decided to sell it.
The pictures are from before I swapped the rear-end. The car looks exactly like the pictures except the rear wheels are a bit wider, creating a more aggressive stance. This is because of the offset on the wheels are different from third-gen to fourth gen. From what I remember reading on here, adapter spacers can fix this if you want to use the thirdgen wheels or if you get a set of fourthgen camaro or firebird wheels then they will fit properly. There is information on the forums about this. I also have a set of fourthgen wheels from a 1995 Camaro if you are interested.
The car is shiny red, the color looks a bit off in the pictures because it was taken with a camera phone. There are no dents. I will take pictures of the interior soon the next chance I have.
Any questions, send me a PM or make a post, and I will get back to you either by phone or by PM, whichever you prefer.
