I hate to do this, but I just got orders to Japan and have to downsize. I bought this car for my son in 2008 and have had it in my garage restoring it since. I literally have put less than 500 miles on it and had great plans for it, unfortunately the Navy isn't cooperating with me. So, here goes...
1988 Trans AM GTA - $3500
L-98, 350 TPI, 700R4 Auto, 3.27 9-bolt Posi rear. 4-wheel disk brakes, Aluminum driveshaft and Aluminum 16” spare. Car has 158,XXX miles, doesn’t smoke, will spin the tires on a good day and fires up on demand. Has a tan interior that is in excellent shape. New MP3 Sony Stereo with I-pod input. Brakes and Tires have approx 3,000 miles on them and are like new.
Replaced with OEM new parts:
Plugs, Cap, Rotor, Wires, Radiator, Fan Temp Sensor, Serpentine Belt, Oil, Fuel and Trans filters, Door Hinges, Oil Pump/Oil Pan Gasket, Hood Struts, PWR Antenna internals, re-covered headliner. Replaced Oil, Trans and Differential fluids. 4-new GTA Wheel Centercaps.
Upgrades:
Chris Alston Sub Frame Connectors, Energy Suspension Sway Bar Bushings, End Links and Trans Mount, Stainless Steel Exhaust Tips, External Oil Cooler, External Trans Cooler, A/C Delete Box and Pulley.
Absolutely no damage and no rust. Potential of this car is unlimited, a perfect platform to build on to make a "Street Nasty" ride.
Buyer arranges shipping. The pictures below are from a few months back, since the pic's, I have replaced the exh tips (more subtle) and added the centercaps.
