This is a pristine 1989 Pontiac Firebird Formula convertible WS6 5.0 liter V8 TBI. This vehicle was ordered on 03-20-89, shipped 06-30-89 from ASC, Inc. (the factory authorized converter for removal of the t-tops and conversion into a convertible) to Matteson Pontiac. In 1989, ASC, Inc. reported 330 Firebird convertibles, but according to the sales order log as of 21 Aug 1989 there were only 324 made. Of this list, 10 were exported and another 5 have no record in the US, leaving just 309. This was the ONLY convertible Firebird that Matteson Pontiac ordered for the 1989 model year and it was owned by the dealership owner. This car is #55 of the known 59 Firebird Convertibles with the L03 engine in 1989. It was driven & garaged in Florida until April 2006. Only driven in Ohio on sunny days and garage stored. ACTUAL MILES 26,159!!! Automatic, Power Windows, Power Mirrors, PS, PB, AM-FM cassette, A/C, New 3" Flowmaster catback exhaust, headlight assembly rebuild kit in 2007, front suspension "Wonder Bar". Selling to reduce number of "toys" in household! Must see to believe! I can email lots of pictures if seriously interested. Price $10,000 firm

I also have an '89 formula convertible and I was wondering where you found all of the information on build numbers. I have been looking for this information for sometime now and I have never found it.
The car was 1100 miles from us when we bought it, but well worth the drive! Made for a great road trip one way. We flew to FL picked up the vehicle and drove it home in late April, 2006.
