| 1986 Firebird 2.8 5spd t-tops, solid body, runs and drives/pics 1986 Firebird, 2.8/5spd, t-tops (they have not leaked in the two months I've had it), power windows, tilt, am/fm/cassette, recent exhaust and alternator, car was a well maintained driver for many years and then stored for the last year or so. I put a new battery in it and it started right up and drove home. The only mechanical issues are one front caliper is a little sticky, pulls slightly to one side during braking, the cel is on and I am thinking it is the TPS, the idle fluctuates sometimes, and the battery will drain sometimes if you leave it sit for a week and don't start it. The interior is pretty decent, the dash has cracks and the drivers seat has some worn through areas. The body is very solid with only a little rust. The car is presentable but paint is faded on the spoiler roof, and hood. It is pretty stock except someone added a T/A hood. It could probably be driven home wherever you are. It would make a great beater, V8 project, or even parts car. $800 is absolutely firm, there are more pics below. I have no problem dealing with long distance buyers, I sell on ebay and don't mind dealing with shippers on my end. However don't contact me unless you are extremely serious. i don't have time to waste answering endless questions and sending a million pics on an $800 car only to have people say they have to think about it. We all know what parts cost and these things are getting harder to find. Please email me as I don't check this board too often. Thanks for the free ad.
