'88 GTA that has a straight body, recently installed tranny, runs& drives. Send me your email addy and I'll send you some pics. The car has 3.27 gear, al driveshaft, digital dash, rear disc, and 350 tpi. The car appears to be pretty much all original. The car is maroon in color but needs paint because the clear coat is coming off. The car does puff a little smoke on startup and from that I would think it needs valve seals, but other than that the engine sounds and runs smoothly. The guy I bought the car from said he was driving the car until the tranny went out and this was recently. I found something else I want so my loss is your gain. I would like to get 1,300 for the car and it has a clean title.

Here are some pics the guy sent me when I bought the car from him. I have cleaned the car up a little since these pics but this is pretty much how the car looks.

Update: I drove the car back to my house today which is about 2-4 miles from where the trans was put in and the car runs and drives. The trans must have a shift kit or something 'cause it will hit 2nd

It don't need a trans kit to bang second gear, it's just new again. My car is still new (see my ad) and it bangs second gear like snapping the clutch on a manual. Good luck with the sale.
