I have a 1982 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am for sale. The car used to be a project car of mine and has a mildly built 350 (4 bolt mains, Comp Cams camshaft, Edelbrock Performer intake, Holley carb, Hedman Headers, World Products s/r heads, SCAT cast crank, among other things). This car is set up with a T-5 5speed. I am selling this car because the transmission needs to be repaired (reverse 5 shift block, new front seal) and I simply do not have the time to mess with it anymore, and need the money. The engine runs great and starts right up every time. The body is in pretty decent shape. There is some rust near and a few dents but nothing that cant be fixed. The majority of the interior has been swapped out of an 85? Camaro. The front seats are originals and are worn but the rest is in great shape. The transmission simply needs to be fixed and reinstalled. I am asking $1300 but that price is certainly negotiable. I also have various parts and accessories that go with the car, including a set of brand new lowering springs, as well as the original seats, a set of stock replacement spring, all the old Auto trans crossmember, driveshaft, etc. If you have any questions you can email me at adam.aalgaard@gmail.com or call me at 641 590 1982
Thanks,
Adam

About 5 hours. The transmission is not currently in the car, it would have to be trailered. I do have a house in Ames that I live at during the school year, and could possibly trailer it there at least, depending how interested you are.
