Up for sale is my 1986 trans am. I am selling it for 2500$.
I am located in Willow Street, PA which is about 45 minutes southeast of Harrisburg or about and hour southwest of Philadelphia. It has 152k on the body and approximately 78k on the second motor. There is 0 rust on this car and has been in my garage everyday except one since i have had it so it has stayed clean. It has a 700r4 automatic transmission. It also has power tinted windows,power mirrors,cruise control,tilt wheel,factory fog lights,factory dual exhaust and tan 4th generation power leather/pneumatic lumbar seats front to back. I really love this car but I have to sell it. Here's whats been done to it:
new Edelbrock 1406 carburator
new Edelbrock performer intake\
new Mallory ignition distributor
new Cooper Zeon 245/50/16Z rated tires with 300 miles if that on them
upgraded wheels to GTA factory style
replaced dash pad
replace instrument cluster plastic
new double roller timing chain/gears and timing cover
new water pump
new radiator
new thermostat housing
new plugs/ plug wires
new fuel pump and lines(from pump to block)
new vacuum hoses
new flowmaster muffler
new hood and rear hatch shocks
new inner and outer control arm bushings
new rear brake drums,shoes and wheel cylinders
front end alignment performed
new rear stabilizer link
new headliner
new floor carpet front to back
replaced seats front to back
replace sail panel liners
replace outer mirror housings and servos
new under hood insulation
flushed and filled cooling system
upgraded factory speakers
replaced console armrest
replaced outer window trim and inner door seal gaskets
new battery
I am sure there is more but I cant remember all of it right now. Everything is documented and I have receipts for all parts and services which were professionally performed, except the muffler which wasn't done by me. It is inspected until 4/10, runs and drives. I get asked constantly about t-tops, no its a hardtop and the a/c stuff minus the compressor is there-i didnt take it out, was out when i got it. When sold you will also get any extra parts(down to the bolt) I have for this car and 4 tan firebird rally rims with good tread on them. I can also sell this for less without the GTA wheel and rims. There is a light bump in the drivers front fender which may or may not be noticed in the picture, i often forget its even there. This is a nice looking car, not without its blemishes, but still nice. Here's what it should have done to it: the oil pan leaks and should be replaced and the exhaust headers should be replaced. Also recently, on big hills the engine runs very hot but cools down when heater is turned on. I dont know why, this has just started doing this this week. Normal driving around seems fine, maybe the fan isn't kicking on at the right time; I have verified it does work. Even if you dont like the pokey 305, this is an excellent car to upgrade to something wicked. Just so everyone knows-this car is sold. no thanks to anyone on this board-only one of the people who looked at this posting even bothered to type a response. im glad i didnt go to any thirdgen events - because i wouldnt take talking with no one listening very well there either. now where do i find the account delete link.....
