I'm helping sell this car for a buddy of mine. I know many of the details of this car so feel free to email me, and if i cannot answer any questions, i will contact him as quickly as possible to answer any questions you may have. Beware, the car is dirty at the moment, and if it was mine to sell, i would have cleaned it thoroughly!! Just a FYI.
1988 Pontiac Firebird Formula
Original V8 was replaced and a Edelbrock carb setup was put in place of the TBI setup. 5 speed is original and shifts smoothly into every gear with no grinding or noises. Also has a recently installed stage 2 (for what it's worth in describing it) clutch with pressure plate and all bearings. Car should have a 3.08 rear end, but cannot confirm, and again, believe it's LSD, but cannot confirm that either. The car had the hatch replaced, of which some of the pictures shows the blue paint underneath some of the pealing white paint, so the hatch was definitely replaced, and thus why the wrap around is gone. Also has 16" formula (or t/a, i forget the difference) rims, with good tires and the overhead console.
The car has a functional formula hood installed for better breathing, non-leaking t-tops, spare set of seats, and a few other features. Only issue body wise is a dent in the passenger front fender, and a slight dent in the driver rear fender (pictured below). Instead of making this post a mile long with details and pictures, just give me your email address and i can give you more pictures or details. Looking for $1500 obo. Just recently inspected (good till 06/10)! Was taken off the road once he acquired a 1990 IROC. This car can be driven home! Located in Jefferson NY, call to setup appointments!

Price dropped down to $1100 OBO. Willing to go a little cheaper after taking off the edelbrock carb and putting on the original quadrajet carb. Feel free to ask any questions!
Still available? I have 700 dollars cash im pretty sure that is too low but will you hoold it for me? and when you say i can drive it home could it make it to South Carolina?
I'm sure the car could make it to South Carolina without too much trouble, but my buddy said $700 is too low, and that he needs the cash ASAP, so without cash unfortunetaly we wouldn't be able to sit on the car. He has a deadline on his fines that is what is causeing him to sell this car so.
Parting out the car, let me know what yo uneed. Selling as following packages:
complete 305 Motor with accesories, without carb (can come see run for confirmation)
5 speed tranny package including everything for swap (can come drive for confirmation)
rear axle, will have to get back to you on what it is, but believe it has a LSD
Interior is complete, carmine red carpets, seats. Firebird dash, rally gauge cluster, center console (minus shifter panel if person needs it for 5 speed swap package) All body panels are up for grabs, doors, hatch, 82-84 functional trans am hood, bumpers, driver side fender (pass side has small dent). T-Tops are also available. Anything you need, let me know.
Purchaser is responsible for all shipping charges, and responsible for all shipping arrangements on any big parts (engine, trans, axle). Willing to work with person, and relocate parts to shipping company within reason. Let me know what you want/need. Need money up front before parts are pulled, do not want to gut car and be left short handed. All purchases will be expedited in an immediate fashion.
