Back up for sale is my 1988 T/A GTA Notch. Didn't sell on ebay the first go-round ... set my reserve too high. I'd like to see somebody on this site have it anyway, so I'm offering it at a steal. It is 1 of 718 Notchbacks ever produced and 1 of 624 that remained in the US. It is a REAL notchback. I have a copy of the original invoice.
The car has just shy of 140,000 miles on it, but the 350 crate motor has just under 30,000, according to the previous owner.
Performance modifications include ZZ9 cam, SLP runners, SLP 1-3/4" headers, 3" wye pipe, Hooker 3" catback, A/C delete, CAI, subframe connectors and 3.70 gears. It has a stock 9-bolt disk brake rear end.
Recent appearance/function upgrades are new paint (with warranty), new carpet, new T-Top weatherstripping, restored door panels, new window sweeps, new hatch pulldown motor, new stereo system and speakers (but I'll give the buyer the factory stuff). Power antenna works like new.
The paint job is a good driver-quality job done by American Paint and Body in Lenoir, NC. It is not a show-quality job, but not far from it. There are a few imperfections here and there, but most could be cut and buffed out. There are a few places where bondo is present, but it was used sparingly. There is a place in the passenger fender where some sanding scratches show through the paint, but you really have to be looking for it to see it. See pics.
The interior on this car is NICE. The only imperfections are a few very small old cigarette burns on the seats. The dash pad is PERFECT. No cracks anywhere. The console is in perfect shape, and everything on the digital dash works with the exception of the high/low beam indicator.
There are the typical door & t-top squeaks and rattles that come from a 21-year-old third generation F-Body, but this car is overall a very nice, very rare car. Headlights and fog lights work as they should, as do all the lights on the car. Power locks and power windows work great. It has an aftermarket alarm with keyless entry and remote start.
The crosslace wheels were originally gold but were painted black by a previous owner. I like the black, so I kept it.
Tires are nearly new. Lots of tread left on them. Brakes were checked recently and rubber lines replaced. Brand new suspension.
This is a great chance to own an awesome piece of GM F-Body history.
Price is firm. I have dropped my original price by $1,500, so I am not willing to negotiate on $6,500.
Please call me at (828) 443-2701 if you would like to set up an appointment to see the car or if you just have a question. Thanks for looking!!

Yep, sure did. If you follow the link in the first post, you will see OneManArmy himself (in all his infinite glory haha) signing over the paperwork on the car.
It was dyno'd at 220 HP and 314 lb/ft. torque at the rear wheels. Not a screamer, but a lot better than stock.
man i've wanted this car for awhile now, that notchback is so sexeeee. but unfortunately i don't have the money to put in the ls1 built motor like I want to.....
if i get this police job i applied for you better believe I might.
