Unfortunately, I have to sell my Trans Am. I searched a long time to find exactly what I wanted, hopefully someone else is looking for the same car and can appericate what it is. According to the History/Restoration thread there were 1,665 (1985) Trans Am L69 5.0 H.O. cars made, and once you get into breaking down color, options, etc... it is a very rare Trans Am. We purchased the car from the original owners daughter and it has always been adult driven and stored indoors with a cover. It is almost 100% original and unmolested and never abused, and we managed to pick up a few trophys with it over the summer at car shows. Here are the details.
1985 Pontiac Trans Am
62,359 Documented Original Miles
75U Brilliant Red w/WW2 Appearance Package (silver), Aero #2
L69 H.O. 305
M69 5-Speed Transmission
J65 4 Wheels Disk Brakes
G80 Positraction, Limited Slip
GS4 3.70 Rear Axle Ratio
CC1 Glass T-Tops
DK6 Overhead Console
YS1/YR1 Custom Seats (red with silver inserts)
It also has power windows, A/C, cruise control, tilt steering wheel, rear window defroster, and the original AM/FM Cassette stereo. Everything, including the A/C and the cruise control, works excellent. I did install a new Dynomax exhaust when I bought it because the seam split apart in the original exhaust pipe. I also purchased 1986 16"x8" wheels with period correct Dunlop P245/50R16 to replace the factory N90 15"x7" aluminum wheels. I do have the factory wheels (which will be included), they are in excellent shape, and the original center caps and lugs/lug covers are on the car. I do have the original shifter knob, 2 extra center caps, and the key knockouts that will also go with it, along with tons of original paperwork, service records, and the owners/warranty manuals.
I am asking $7,000/obo
(262) 332-7109 (please-serious calls only, and before 10pm central time)
The car is located in Waterford, Wisconsin

Pm's replied to, thanks for all the intrest. Also - I am more than happy to take any special pictures of any part of the car just pm, email or call me. It has nothing to hide, 100% factory paint, and 100% rust free.

Nice looking car! Would even be nicer if someone adjusted the headlights and hood to even them out. I just did mine, 4 10mm bolts to adjust the headlight baskets (Un-plug the motors first) and there are 4 adjustable hood bumpers.
It took me a couple of hours to do but i am a perfectionist. lol.
Too nice of car to go without and it will sell faster.

Thanks for the bumps and the comments. I thought about the headlight cover realignment, but it's exactly the way it left the showroom floor. I'd rather leave it alone for now, but thanks for the tip. I'm starting to get close to putting it in storage, so for the next week or two I'm fairly negotable on the price. Once it's in storage or they salt the roads, it's gonna be tough to show it to someone. If anyone has any questions, wants more pics, or wants to come look at it-call me or pm me. The weather is going to be really nice here for at least 10 more days.
