Car: 86, Trans Am
Engine: LT1
Transmission: 4L60

1989 formula with LT1 $3200 may trade

the car is a project car it's very solid with t-tops and trans am bumpers and most of the trans am ground effects. the car has a 1996 LT1 and 4L60E trans out of a caprice runs and drives but needs a Y pipe. the cumputer has NOT been reprogramed but it runs and drives just fine.

What it needs: a windshield driver door and fender (fender is reparible) the Y pipe and some interior work (the interior is all thier and not that bad but needs the top of councle replaced and the carpet cleaned or replaced)
The gauges are NOT hooked up I never even tried I planed on putting in a 4th gen dash and gauges so everything would just plug in.

I'm asking $3200 OBO for it not in a big hurry to get rid of it but right now I don't have the extra cash to put into it. so for right now it will be up for sale until it's gone or I come across some money and some parts.

As of a TRADE: i'm really wanting a GTA if I can get one I may trade for somethig else just let me know what you have I like alot of different stuff.

The Caprice LT1 is different from the f-body LT1 as well. Just think that should be info. supplied for this. It is smaller, makes less power, and is overall less desirable due to the specs of the motor...it basically holds the same place as the 305 TPI to the 350 TPI in third gens...

That would be completely wrong information. The main difference between the f-body LT1 and the B-body LT1 are the Iron heads on the B-body version. They are the same displacement and are good for 260hp from the factory.

Dont confuse the L99 for the LT1. You did.
