1986 Firebird Roller (Lots of upgrades + Extras)
Really hate doing this but someone gave me a hell of a deal on a C10 that I am in love with. I have no more motivation on fixing the 86 up, so now it has to go!
The car is being sold as a Roller. Has no motor/trans.
The car is a clean tittle 1986 Pontiac Firebird Base. Originally came with a 2.8L/700r4/10 bolt with 3.42s. Was originally Bright red but was painted Dark Met Red or ''Flame red'' later down its life. The car has had 2 engine swaps in its life, first a 5.7L l98 with a 4l60 then to a 97 LT1 with a 4l60e.
I was in the middle of converting over to a ground effects third gen. I have already started and finished the rear portion. This can easily be undone by just welding up the 6 holes I made (3 on each side). It will come with a trans am rear bumper. Trans am Rear ground effects and front side ground effects, I do not have the door, side skirts and or front trans am bumper to finish the conversion. I will be including both the original front and rear bumpers. Car is spotless as far as rust goes, floors have been coated with POR-15 last year. Car has not been crashed.
The car comes with 2 sets of wheels. A perfect set of Crosslaces (As seen in the photos) and a set of 4th gen spec Torque Thrust 2's. Both set needs tires.
It also has a Walbro 255 in the tank.
The suspension is as follows:
KYB AGX Front Struts
KYB GR2 Rear Shocks
Iroc Wonderbar/Steering brace
WS6 Sway Bars with ES Bushings/Links
Moog Ball Joints W/ Global West Del-A-Lum Bushings
Intrax 2' Springs (3 installed & 1 Moog 5662 front left to replace with intrax)
Moog Springs 5662 & 5665 (Brand new, Including these in the deal)
Founders Performance Non-Adjustable Panhard Bar & Lower Control Arms.
Stock Torque Arm
Stock Shock mounts
Stock 86 Base Steering box
Brakes:
LS1 Front Brakes from Bigbrakeupgrade W/ Slotted/Drilled Rotors W/ Hawk HPS Pads
Rear PBR Alum Brakes with newer Rotors/Pads from Vatozone.
Newer brake hoses all around.
Disc rear Prop Valve
Newer Master Cyl
Stock Booster
The rear end is a 9 bolt from a 89 GTA, 3.27 Posi with a T/A Performance Girdle and had 88k miles when I swapped it in. So around 88500~ now.
Also comes with a Champion 3 row all Alum Radiator!
Interior wise, It needs the headliner. I have the original backboard which is in great condition and all it needs is to be recovered. Dash pad is not cracked and perfect. Driver seat has small tear where your butt will go, usual driver side seat wear pretty much. Car will also come with the Autometer gauges, which are Autometer Sport comp 1 5' Tach and Speedo and Digital Fuel gauge and Water temp. I will be keeping the trans temp gauge. Pillar pod is included as well.
I have alot more things I can throw in to have it sold, i have the full exhaust (Modified Hooker 2055s W/ Ypipe W/ Dynomax Cutout to Hooker Aerochamber) and other 91-92 Camaro stuff I have laying around (Full interior, dash pad, and some gfx). Im moving away from the third gen scene for a while.
Car is located in south side Chicago, IL, 60632 Area. Of course it has to be towed or trailered..
I am in no rush to sell it. asking $900 firm for it all. No time to part it. The hood has been sold already. So it does not come with a hood.

Bump!
If all your interested is in the roller with no extras for a lower price, let me know. I am more than willing to keep some of the goodies.

I'm gonna keep my eye on this one. It would be around $400 for me to make the trip. How far would you be willing to go with stripping the car? I really need a shell, not a roller. How far would you be wiling to go stripping it down? I like the front suspension and F/R springs, and the LS1 brakes already done. I don't need the rear tubular parts and axle.

I can still leave it as a roller. I can price it down to $600 but thats just for the roller with suspension listed above no extras.

^ I'm in a pretty unstable situation right now as far as work/housing goes, so I probably shouldn't be dragging home any yard ornaments right away. Like I said, I'll keep an eye on it. Good Luck With the Sale, but I hope it doesn't sell til I can get to it lol.
