I'm selling my 1991 Firebird V6 3.1L. It has new tires, new plugs wires, new injectors, new alpine radio, rew heliner, new eger valve, new IAC, new TPS, new MAPS sensor.

Car has valid NJ inspection

Issues:

I think the previous own might have hit the Passenger door on something causing the window to be either off track out of aligment or something so sometimes water gets in when it rains. The door has small dents, passenger windo motor is shot.

For some reason the car rides smooth sometimes at other times it doesn't. I have had time to fiugre it out but its either the new MAP sensor or TPS.

NO A/C needs replacement.

Price Drop to $2,000.

Need to sell it fast to pay bills. Im not trying to make a profit reallly just trying to gt back what I put into it. Many new parts, somebody with more time and expertise should be able to get her perfect in a day or two. I just don't have time nor income to support any hobbies now.

Oil leak from not pulling engine and trans to replace timing chain.

Basically yes, its a rough V6 with mechanical issues. Around here, itd be a hard fight to get $1000 from it as it sits, but you're in New Jersey. Cant really say what they go for there

I mean it needs a paint job for sure. But. It actually runs nice. I haven't had any issues with it in the past few months. But I only take it out every few weeks. I didn't over pay for it and put around 1200 into to get it road worthy. So mechanically is pretty sound I just think I have to replace iac but im broke. Otherwise its drive a go.

Maybe drop some until you get some interest, maybe a cheap paintjob from Maaco. Ebay seems to get higher traffic and more bids

For jersey this is a good deal. The problem is engine size unfortunately. If I was looking for a car to do an engine swap with I would be all over it.

I hear you on the engine size. I thought what I was asking was fair as well. If i had acces to a shop like i used to years ago it would be a different ball game, but I no longer do and plus that place was 1.25 hours away from home. I just wanted to get this one up and running. Please spread the word.

It still can, only if shipping wasn't so expensive. But I think it is priced to sell if anybody wants a decent project car. I been driving it at least twice a week for the past few weeks just to keep it moving. I gonna have to stick a for sale sign in it as I take it around. If it was a V8 I guess it would have been gone already.

You and me both. It aint perfect, but neither are the majority of cars on here. Many even worse. I have seen cars I would junk go for more. Everybody wants a V8.

Even at 1k I'm losing $800.00. The tires are brand new, not even 100 miles on them. Thats 400.00 - 500.00 by itself for tires with install. I should just take them off and go put used tires on it and keep the ones that are on there.
