'86 TRANS AM 5-SPEED WITH MODS $2,995
I picked up this Trans Am for the 12 bolt that was in it. I don't really want the car, so I thought I would offer it to the third-gen enthusiasts.
The car started life as an 86 305 tune-port car with an automatic. Now, it has a 350 tune-port with a 5-speed. The engine is a full roller motor with Edelbrock runners on a stock base. An after-market throttle body of some sort. MSD ignition and wires. A full Hooker exhaust system. A hypertech chip and a cone air filter. The cam specs are unknown.
Whoever built this car spent a lot of money on it. The 5-speed has been rebuilt and is a world-class Borg/Warner with a Hurst shifter. The full Hooker exhaust has an electric cutout. There is also a line-lock installed.
I just put a 10-bolt with 326 gears and disc brakes in the car. It has a very nice paint job if you like sparkles. New brakes all around, Sony stereo, and air conditioning that has been upgraded to R134.
After removing the carpet, I found a hole in the floor by the brake pedal that I will fix. I'm looking to get $2995.

big tires in back little in front I guess. some one spent a lot on this thing
