1989 turbo trans am #413 vip festival car
1989 Pontiac Turbo Trans Am Indy Pace Car (TTA). This is number 413 of 1550 produced. It was one of 150 used as VIP Festival Cars at the Indy 500 in 1989. The drivetrain is based on the Buick Grand National GNX. Unmodified Pace Car was clocked at 171mph at Indy in 1989.
This car has original numbers matching drivetrain. 3.8 V6, 200R4 Transmission, Australian 9 bolt rear. 67xxx miles currently. Looks and Runs Great. Paint is original.
Rebuilt transmission with shift kit and 2800 stall. New Katzkin Leather Seats($2K), New tires, New Headliner and Visors. New KYB Shocks and new coil springs. Turbo Tweak chip & Injectors, BMR Adjustable Torque arm and tubular rear control arms, flowmaster cat back. also have all of the original parts.
Very unique top of the line trans am selling due to too many cars and lack of space. Just completed 3700 miles on 2014 Hot Rod Power Tour with no problems. Comfortable car with working AC and overdrive. $22K
