88 GTA. 5.7, Auto. 3.27 Rear. I purchased this car about a year ago from the original owner who had stored it in his mothers garage since 1998. I hold the original signed title, but I never transferred it. I can if it makes all parties more comfortable, but i Valued the "original title" aspect. I bought the car with the intention of restoring it with my son, but life has changed. The #1 Cylinder valves seized, so I pulled the engine, Performed a revearing/rering, honed the cylinders, installed Vortec Heads (magnafluxed, no cracks per Performance Cylinder Head in Tampa) ZZ4 Hot Cam, LS6 Springs, Comp Cam retainers. Accel Injectors, lightly ported plenum, throttle body airfoil (I know, I know) But I never had the money for the SDPC Intake. The Motor/Trans are out of the car, and never run, but I will hopefully be reinstalling them (minus intake) this week. The body is nice, a few dings, and will certainly need paint. The Wing was rotted, so I removed it. I will also include the 4th gen wing I purchased, but never installed. New AC delco fuel pump, strainer, filter. Rear shocks, sway bar links, etc. With the exception of the motor work, the car was 100% original. The only rust to be found is the battery tray. I rebuilt the headlight motors, installed new motor mounts, bought new hoses, water pump. The Dash has no cracks, the seats are beautiful. All plastic pieces have light mold, but no fabric. Still has the cargo cover, original stereo, steering wheel controls, etc. I have not tested the power windows. Tires are garbage, original crosslace rims. The car will need:
Brakes, front steering components (ball joints/CA bushings are ok) SDPC intake, tuning Im sure, and a driver.
I HATE selling this car, but baseball season, back to school, and a nasty breakup are forcing my hand. I have over $4000 invested, but I am setting my price low at $2600 .Feel free to make a realistic offer though. I need the car gone. Nice project, wish it was in Texas, and drivable
