WTT: Dodge Dakota For 3rd Gen Firebird/Camaro

My girlfriend has 3 Firebirds and I was just at an F-body meet over the weekend... I'm... well... basically hooked... lol....... So I'd like to trade my Dodge Dakota for a Firebird or Camaro.. third Gen preferred. Pics:

More - Recent pics from March:

The bad: Heater Core needs to be replaced. At the moment, I am bypassing it so it does not leak. I currently have a space heater for a Jeep mounted inside which works fine. Only other problem is the distributor plate which I will be fixing before I trade this. Minor rust on the rear, passenger side wheel well and rear roll pan (paint is chipping a little on the roll pan - easy fix). Minor dings (truck is 15 years old). Paint isn't perfect, but it's not bad either.

Here are the specs/info:

Miles on the body: 163k. Engine is from a 1995 5.2L bottom end, 5.9L top end. Trans is a 46RH (A518) from a '95 Dodge Ram 1500 with 75k miles on it, shifts awesome! Engine was installed roughly 65k miles ago. It has a Mopar Performance R/T cam, Mopar Performance R/T heads, Mopar Performance Computer, true double roller timing chain, K&N FIPK with "functional" '70 Dart Swinger ram air scoops, underdrive pulleys (not installed - including an alternator with the underdrive pulley), Accel coil, Nitrous Express Dodge EFI wet kit (Adjustable from 35-250 .. 100 shot injectors in there at the moment), Vortex muffler with turndown (sounds real NICE!), Chrysler 8 1/4 rear with 3.91's and a suregrip (posi-type), button clip type bed cover, Sylvania Silver Star headlights, GT Grant chrome/black steering wheel, Sir Michaels roll pan, rear LED lights, rear LED "Line Of Fire" light bar, Super White reverse lights, tint (not sure what %), American Racing "Nitro" 15x7" polished aluminum rims (they are in need of some TLC), Yokohama Avid S/T 255/60-R15 rears and 235/60-R15 fronts (Almost brand new up front, decent tread in the back .. not sure but I'd guess 15/32?), Belltech 3/4 drop kit, KYB gas adjustable (automatic) shocks, SSBC "Short Stop" Slotted Rotors w/ High Performance Pads, 6' "short bed", etc. Stereo system is NOT included.

With a 100 shot it puts 307 hp / 390 lb. ft. torque to the ground. I have dyno charts if needed/wanted (I'd have to go to my dyno shop to print these out again though).

It runs 12.7-13.0 in the 1/4 on 150 shot, 13.1-13.3 with 100 shot, and 14.1-14.4 N/A. Spray runs on drag radials and N/A was with street tires.

This truck is pretty fast and a great DD if needed. If you keep off the skinny pedal you can get 16-19 MPG average. If you would like more pics or info, please contact me at PntShocker@aol.com or PM me.

Truck is located in West Chester, PA. I am looking to trade for a 3rd Gen. Firebird or Camaro. It needs to be a 350 or larger engine, and I very much prefer manual (From what I am reading they were only Automatic from the factory though?). T-tops would be nice as well. Aside from that, show me what you've got! Help bring a Mopar ONLY guy into the world of owning an F-body.

I'll even settle for a 305 if I have to or a 350/auto trans. I don't mind modding the engine. Please, I really want an F-body now!!

She'd prob love that. If I could find someone to buy the Dakota for $4000, I would have plenty of money for that swap and enough to put in new carpets, repaint it, etc. Would be a cool thing to do. We'll see lol. I am looking at a 2nd Gen at the moment for $1500.

Yep, I remember meeting/seeing you. You had the C5 vette rims as well, right? That was a great meet. Definitely lots of sweet rides there.

Yep, I remember you. I personally wouldn't put those rims on (I like the 5 spoke skinny chrome/aluminum rims), but they don't look bad. I think we'll be taking the Jeep to do the hood swap lol. Same thing we did with the cowl that's on the '84 now.

I am really hoping to get an f-body... it's starting to be as bad as owning my Jeep

Yah, understood. If they are cheap, screw it. I'd rather those ones I said above, but they must cost an arm and a leg anyway. I can't wait to get an F-body now lol.

I'd be tolerant of $4000 for it. I just don't drive it enough and would love someone else to be able to put it to use. It'll be sad seeing it around the area if I do sell/trade locally..

I LOVE it.. but I recently went to an F-body meet and became addicted. Everyone I know tells me how awesome and unique the truck is.. and how fast it is as well for being a truck. No one races me 'cause of how nice the exhaust sounds.. well, 'cept ***** Civics and such... I need to get a Classic Car title to save on insurance.. so I need a 91 and older car.. and an F-body would rock!

I noticed your sig. If it has a 318 bottom end and 360 heads, that doesnt make it a 360. Its a 318. A 318 has a 3.91" bore and a 3.31" stroke. A 360 has a 4.00" bore and a 3.58" stroke. Just thought id mention that since it says in your sig its a 5.9.

I already found an '86 Firebird (original V6 car) with a 700R4 and 4 bolt 350. I just need to sell this straight up for cash. I have 2 local people interested (One in PA and another in NY). I cannot find the 12.7 slip, though I am pretty some some of the 13.3's are in the truck (take that for what it's worth as it's been over a year since it was at the track). Here are photos of my Nitrous install:

now that you found your car I would not try and continue selling your truck. It will be locked since it is no longer thirdgen related.

It's no longer 3rd Gen Related? If I don't sell this truck I can't get my 3rd Gen.. does that not make it related? No big deal either way.
