Im looking for a nice clean rust free firebird, trans am, formula, GTA, etc etc in or near Pittsburgh. But, as always, theres a few catches.
-No convertibles
-No salvage titles
-No structurally damaged cars
-NO major rust. minimal surface rust but no more. please no rotted floors.
-No show cars. Under $3,000 please.
-No 91-92 body style cars.
Heres some cars that i'd be particularly interested in:
-Any blown up, roller, or V6 cars since they are cheaper and could still be in good condition body wise.
-any TA's
The car will be used as the basis for a weekend warrior project, this is why i need a solid bodied/framed car. I am fairly incapable when it comes to fixing body damage, and rust is not somthing i want to have to even think about. I'm looking for somthing under $3,000 because i have no interest spending big money on a rare or show car that is just gonna be built up.
i have a 88 t/a for sale.it's in tn. but it's only $1800.it had a tpi,now has a 600 edelbrock performer,performer rpm mani,gm hei dist.,msd 6al ign.,brand new 700r4 from monster transmissions,built to hold 500 hp,has 2000 stall and shift kit,it's white with t-tops.has 16 " black gta rims.i was building it as a project but just don't have the time for it anymore.if intrested pm and i'll email you some pics.
if i can find something to buy to drive... i've got an '87 formula black/black w/ttops. runs excellent. needs cosmetic work. paint job. seats redone. have covers on atm. needs console replaced ( have one) dash pad replaced (have one) shift boot(have one) headliner(dont have). 49k orig. miles. im 2nd owner. have orig. window sticker and owners manual. LG4 w/700R4. needs headlight motors rebuilt (kits are on way) and rear hatch motor replaced (have one). sounds like a lot... but its really all minor stuff. it still had factory belts on it( since been replaced) newly remanf. carb and new plugs. if you might be interested i can send you some pictures and you can tell me what you would give for it? only reason i would get rid of is to find a gta.. its not that anything is wrong with it.

sure. i'd be interested in that. It does sound like alot, but every car i look at needs "alot", and at least paints the most expensive thing that that car needs replaced. Send some pics my way. LMSkyliner@gmail.com
i have a 1988 t/a 305 auto 3:42 rear gear ratio car is red with silver along bottom silver interior 64k miles no ttops though car comes with 1987 parts car $1800 obo am located in huntingdon county pennsylvania
