Car: 1986 Trans Am | Anyone have a T/A Body in CT? No Engine/Trans
Yeah, after a long ordeal I've basically come to the conclusion that there's no way to get my Trans Am registered. Bought it about 3 years ago from a guy who owns an auto repair place. Someone brought the car there to be repaired and when they were given an estimate they never returned for the car. I bought it for 400 bucks in decent condition and we got it going again but whatever, had plans for it but that's shot. No idea where to find the guy to get him to sign a release form either, and all the cops I've talked to won't run the plates it has for privacy reasons (understandable). Was a dumb decision on my part years ago but whatever, I had fun working on it I guess?
Does anyone have an 85-88 body for sale with t-tops? Doesn't have to be in immaculate condition, for what it's worth I can use the one I have for parts.
I'm just looking for a body, engine and trans don't have to be included since I don't need them, anyone have a "parts" car with a clean title? Let me know. | | | |
