Hello everyone, I was wondering if any of you had a car for me. I am looking for a 3rd gen project to work on. Somewhere $1500 or less.

I guess it would depend on your definition of "car", and how much work you want to do. I purchased 2 87 trans ams on craigslist the other day, one I plan on restoring, the other was just a bonus car. Its a blue 87 T/A, not sure what type. Its basically the frame, doors, and suspension. No motor, trans, interior, or dog house. Oh, no tires either. But if your looking to start from the ground up, I can help. Car is located in Fenton, MI.

The body and frame are SOLID, two very small rust holes in the drivers side floor boards, and one very small area where the spare tire sits. Other than that, very good condition. All of the glass is intact as well. I'd let it go pretty cheap, too.

I've got an 85 Trans Am with t-tops. 5 speed manual. V8, was 350...now bored 060 over...lots of go fast parts on it...but has a spun bearing. It fires up...and runs and drives. Selling for 1500-ish. Pics on request.

I have a 86 Trans Am WS6 with a 96 LT1 and 4L60 trans car has T-tops GTA wheels and 4wheel disc brakes it's a project car needs some body, interior and brake work but it runs and drives right now asking $3250 OBO.

I have an 88 firebird that is completely intact except I cant get it to stay running. The body and interior need work. I posted it on craigslist under snohomish, washington for $750. Im in bothell washington. I bought the car and it ran great, no valves or lifters ticking no knocking, strong tranny, but as soon as I filled the gas tank it stopped running. It has the 305 tbi v8 with custom exhaust and rims, but they are rusty. Everything works other than it wont stay running for more than 10 seconds. Take a look at my ad on cl if your interested.
